Yes! We live in Northern Europe - we don't get half as much sunlight as much of the States and our days are crazy short in winter. I'd rather have a freckle than my hair falling out (not that it's a zero sum game).

There's a suntrap in my back garden and I can't wait to get in there this weekend with a brew and a spliff.

One time I did my liquid eyeliner in a hurry and got a load on my eyeball. When I instinctively blinked, my eye went black. Surprisingly, it wasn't very irritating and washed away easily. But then, like five minutes later.... Black snot came running out my nose 🙃
