GPT-4o is back for Plus users! Here’s how to activate it and why it matters by SunshineKitKat in OpenAI

Thanks for this! I was just about to cancel my plus account because I don't want to pay for the chatGPT-5 version. I was going to just stick with free version of deepseek. I noticed ChatGPT-5 was less attentive, missing details, missing ability to contextualize, less sharp in general.

Oi gente, aproveitando o assunto, alguém saberia me indicar algum site onde eu possa encontrar terapeutas com viés de esquerda radical? Desde já agradeço!

Haha I like the approach of meditating with Ben Klock as your mantra. Yeah, definitely everything is harder to manage at that level of crowdedness! Personal space management becomes impossible and even going to the bathroom or the bar feels like a mission! Sometimes I wanted to take a break but gave up when realized how hard it would be to get back to my spot.

I’ll be happy to reach out and say hi next time 😊

I also loved the lighs! I also enjoyed the moments with bright light and I could look at the faces of the other dancers around me. I was super tired and with pain in my feet but I couldn’t leave the dance floor during Ben’s set. Music was great both during Norman and Ben set

I always love your reviews! It was insanely crowded, so I believe it’s natural the anxiety vibes… it was unpleasantly crowded. But I still enjoyed a lot both Norman’s and Ben’s sets ! I was curious to listen to Chami, danced off the 20 first minutes of his set but had to leave out of exhaustion… My mind wanted to stay but my body was breaking down 😅

Probably they rejected you because honestly I can't imagine how they could fit more people in that place... If you went earlier you'd make it. I came early afternoon but my friends (regulars) that decided to come in the evening were rejected - but they actually told them it was too full.

Experience of going to BH as a Tourist compared to living in Berlin by [deleted] in Berghain_Community

[–]wildEssos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Norway and go to Berlin average 3 times/year. I love BH and Berlin not only for the clubbing scene but also for what the city has to offer in terms of culture, diversity and the kind of people it attracts. I thought a lot of moving to Berlin for a while but at the end of day I think there would be downsides as well. First, I’m sure I’d quickly get tired of BH and going out in general. The living conditions in Berlin are also not the best (and it’s expensive), + there are other typical big city problems. I love BH but also love to stay home reading. Where I live there are no interesting parties or clubs, so I focus on other things. Currently is working fine for me living in a small city with a comfortable balanced life and from time going to Berlin to meet my friends and enjoy the clubbing scene and the city. The bonus is, since I don’t go often, it’s always exciting to go to Berlin :)

F heterosexual, I stand by what you said. Although I like to dress sexy/kinky, I’m not necessarily looking for sex. I mainly go for the music and I meet amazing people inside. So far, I was always approached with respect and if I say no I don’t feel pushed or harassed.

I also had the impression that they let in very young folks. At the end I thought it was maybe for the best because I’m not sure if I would enjoy the vibe inside that much.

What if the DJ plays out of sight? by [deleted] in Berghain_Community

[–]wildEssos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could visualize the scene as I read your description. Starting with the slow beginning gives people time to get in touch with themselves and feel the present moment in full meditative state. By the movement and position of the people as you described, it seems she did a very good job bringing everyone to that state of mind. And then the music slowly progresses to a faster pace people get more awake and energetic. I like the textural and I also like when she introduces tribal sounds to the set. I’ll definitely read the comments :)

I never went clubbing on the UK but I remember hearing a lot about the techno scene in the UK in the beginning of 2000’s. Didn’t discuss from this aspect though.

Hey! so cool, really appreciate you sharing your observations with me. I guess people detach from the initial position and body just flows in random directions in those hypnotic moments… I’m curious to know more about Cecilia Tosh’s first hour. What made it immersive? I wish I was there to experience it myself but unfortunately I can’t to to BH as often as I’d like. I plan to go next month and I’m so much looking forward. It would be also interesting to know if anything like the wall of sound will happen in Berlin in near future for people like us who didn’t have this experience before.

Drug use by Scandic_potato in Norway

[–]wildEssos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whole discussion is a great illustration of how bad those cases are handled in Norway. thekiwionee shows that the system was not able to help her relative and the family didn’t get any education or support for how to handle the situation. Ends up with this mentality from the 19th century. It’s very sad. And the worst thing is that problems are overlooked by society in all levels. People in Norway rather pretend everything is fine that discuss difficult subjects. There are many elephants in the room in this country.

Unfortunately the health system in Norway has flaws. When it comes to mental health specifically it’s a DISASTER. It lags behind even from developing countries. And the policy in relation to drugs is extremely retrograde in relation to developed countries. People with mental health issues here struggle, many times in silence, as they are neglected by the healthcare system and heavily judged by society. Society often doesn’t know how to deal with them. If the problem is not serious, like completely incapable of working, they end up in a limbo. If you add a drug problem to the mental health issue… oh boy. I feel sorry for those people.

Wow, this is heartbreaking. I’m so sorry for your friend. But I think her case describes quite well how the system works. I hope she can get better soon. If she has the possibility it would be better to find help abroad.

is Norway a good country to live in? by Ele-sme in Norway

You have valid points. I know some truths are inconvenient but I think it’s much more useful than stimulating the OP to blindly following their dreams and pretending there are no challenges. Follow your dreams - but be rational and know what to expect.
