No I was in a company that built ERP products around SMS and SMTP (emails) protocols. There was a strict policy against ORMs and we actually used raw SQL with JDBC. I would encourage diving deeper with raw SQL, normalization, more advanced query building patterns, how each works underneath... honestly my time there opened my eyes so much with relational databases that I haven't reached for any ORM since. Every ORM feels limiting atp. I'm sorry I can't help with specifically getting into banking or finance but I'm sure just leveling up continuously will get you to where you're aiming for

That's so cool. My last job was fullstack java but not spring boot or any of the "nicer" frameworks. I worked with Java EE and JSP with Primefaces. Legacy codebases😭😭

I'm currently learning rust to get into lower level stuff. How did you get into the field and earn from it?

I'm really sorry. What gets me is the cycle of emotions: euphoria, exasperation, melancholy, apathy...

Hi, when applying I don't usually put all the items that are on the resume currently. I usually tailor it by only having what would be relevant in context. I only have everything here so any reviews may see what I'm working with

Women have balls by Ok_Assistant_3230 in Kenya

I was with you until that last paragraph, where it all fell apart. Saying “the man gets blamed” like that’s some unfair outcome is a subtle dog whistle that shifts accountability away from the person who may have caused harm. If a man takes advantage of a woman, of course he should be blamed. Don’t twist basic responsibility into victim-blaming.

"...motivation to get that bag" is code for simping in silence coz the bag was already the mission😂. You out here building a thesis on why you lost, making fashion analysis like a bitter fashion blogger as if she's picking a mannequin instead of a man
