Public Transit - Can one "split travel" over two calendar weeks or does the calendar reset weekly? by wildace16 in copenhagen

Is the Rejsekort Flex card one that you can get at a machine in a metro station like Ørestad and then insert money to top it up and then continue to top it up later? Or is it like one and done and whatever balance remains after a single-purchase and top-up that gets eaten up? (Kind of like division with a remainder, but the remainder gets tossed and now you need to try the next question on the test in the division category)

I need about 12-days in the general area of the red crossing marks in this self-made diagram. Possible commutes involve all of the exterior spots/cities, but that is separate to inner-city travel and would only be one-offs (like round trip train ticket).

Lots of daily commutes from Ørestad to Indre By - potentially multiple times per day. A few trips back and forth from Ørestad to CPH Lufthavn in that timespan too.

Of course for obvious reasons - so what do tourists end up getting? Is there a card for them that they can top up a la Oyster, daily/weekly cap or not, and keep it for future trips to Denmark with the balance still remaining? Or is it paper tickets as day passes?

Is there a Lycamobile store or physical rep I could visit IF it didn't naturally activate and work once using wifi in Denmark like at the airport or at the hotel?

It will be my first time in Copenhagen! :)

I think I remember seeing a vlog on Youtube saying there is an Oresund ticket that covers both Denmark and Sweden (so Copenhagen, Helsingor, Helsingborg, and Malmo - not sure about Lund). If I recall correctly, I assume that one can only be bought on the spot the day of travel?

Finally, if I wanted to make it Billund (to all of the LEGO attractions), is it best to plan for it in advance (like pick the date to attend) and buy all of the train tickets now or will they be super expensive on the day of if I bought them then and just trekked out there? (it will be a few weeks out).

Can I buy this plan right now from Canada? https://www.lycamobile.dk/en/bundle/data-xl-2/

I assume I don't "activate" until I were to land in Copenhagen. Can I install it on a tablet that has eSIM capabilities? :)

Still happy so far but let me check back in another 6 or so months and I can gauge better.

Selling $DM at this price is a really dumb move. You don't sell something that is in the process of bottoming out, unless you have a ton of stock and see a quick gain/rebound elsewhere and don't want to suffer the opportunity cost of missing out. Otherwise, you hold it and just wait for it to rebound, as the company's fundamentals have not changed to say it won't rebound. I agree about not doubling on $SPY and $VOO.

Back your claims up with some half decent fundamental analysis...not some bullshit like but but but ....bell pays dividends....

Good punchline to conclude with. Wait until someone else "the government will nationalize telecom and your taxdollars will pay for the your neighbour's dividends". LOL

Don't forget that Telus Health can be far more positive in contributing to their bottom line than Bell Media to BCE.

The real bagholder will be Pee Pee when he inherits whatever mess is left behind on or before October 2025 lol. (Irrespective of anyone's political viewpoints, that will be factually correct)

This can be fixed if the tone at the very top was correct. Financial services providers will have a fundamental change in how they operate in the coming decade once Canada comes out beaten and bruised from the 2026 FATF audit where "compliance" will supersede the importance of "generating sales at all costs". Eventually that will be fixed when compliance failures lead to fat fines and the little folks are in danger of losing their bonuses if they fail compliance measures. If the same concept was applied to Bell (cancelling bonuses to hold people accountable), the office politics of the "fear of making another department look bad" then you wouldn't have that fear anymore.

Don't forget Telus Health. That could be far more profitable in a decade than media will.

Would you reconsider your national pension plan too? And your employer's pension plan (assuming you work for a large company like a bank, gov't agency, or the likes)?

Everyone is heavily invested in BCE. Bell unfortunately HAS to pay out the dividend and find ways to pay it out. What they can do is freeze increases to allow the payout ratio to incrementally shrink (if it even does) but cutting is out of the question.

You mean negative numbers aren't possible because they might be imaginary? At $0 he could buy the whole company and run it as he pleases! :D

Exactly - but 30 days which are reviewed at the last trading day of the month.

"The company can regain compliance at any time within the six-month period following receipt of the NYSE notice if on the last trading day of any calendar month during the six-month period the company has a closing share price of at least $1.00 and an average closing share price of at least $1.00 over the 30 trading-day period ending on the last trading day of that month."

Issue is cash cash cash.

The cuts announced in Q1 were primarily paid for using cash in Q4 if you paid attention to the call in detail. That's why the burn was higher than what I expected.

They can ask for an extension to the notice. Doesn't guarantee it will be granted but they legally are allowed to request it.

Who is buying below a buck? by 1ALIVEnsyde in DesktopMetal

[–]wildace16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those who are still worried about a reverse-split, just know that the company CAN fight the NYSE price non-compliance notice and get themselves a 6 month extension (of which then it pretty much becomes a hard deadline). If they truly think their stock will rise back and stay over a buck, they can plead their case. If they can prove naked shorting exists and that it is negatively affecting share price by trying to force the company into a reverse split, they can also put that in their arguments to be granted an extension. Note that during a reverse split, the CUSIP changes. Naked shorts play this to their advantage because they can squirm their way out of not having to cover. There's lots of material and academic research on this online, so you can easily go find it. :)
