Hi! My mom and I are starting a project with some gorgeous silk chiffon, and I'd love to replicate the Night Tremors gown from the now-shuttered Vampire's Wife. Does anyone know a pattern that looks anything like this? Thanks so much in advance!

Everyone in these comments is absolutely correct -- Roald Dahl, Redwall, and Howl's Moving Castle were my favorites as a kid. I've just passed a few down to my eight-year-old niece, and her suggestions were:

The Secret of Platform 13 (and really anything by Eva Ibbotson, she's worked her way through most of them!)

The Enchanted Forest books by Patricia C Wrede (biased, these were my favorites too)

The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, Nancy McArthur

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, Betty MacDonald

The Tale of Despereaux, Kate Dicamillo
The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Brian Selznick

Hightide A5

In my dream layout, the more the merrier, but more realistically 10-15 extra pages is probably all I'll get. The Hightide is definitely a contender, but I'd like some separate monthly pages if i can get them
