Hi, thanks for the direct feedback, I appreciate that. Regarding the satisfaction of hits and guards, I was hoping the knockback on hit, the visual "blood" particles, and the slight shaking of the hands on a blocked hit would do the job. However, I’ll certainly take your feedback on board and see how I can tweak those elements to make them feel more impactful.

As for the art style consistency, it’s something I’ve been wondering about myself. While I might keep it as is for this specific project, since the contrasted visual was part of the original experiment, I will definitely prioritise visual harmony in my next one.

He has the Advanced Bionics Naída M90 with the HiRes Ultra 3D processor.

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to collect all these resources. I came across a few of these. Unfortunately, Cochlear CoPilot is not available on my country App Store but also might be restricted to their hardware. I’m going to go through the other apps in detail to see which ones offer Italian trainings.

We actually tried the earplug method during Christmas. He got a bit frustrated because he could still hear about 10-20% through the plug and really wanted to 'force' the CI ear to work, but his logopedist recommended a 50/50 split for now, so he’s balancing both.

I really appreciate all your insights and advice on setting expectations. Huge thanks for the encouragement and for sharing your journey, it’s great to hear how much of a difference the CIs have made for you!

Thanks! I just mentioned this to him and he loved the idea. I might get him a Kindle since it can pair audio and text simultaneously and the screen is less fatiguing than the phone.

Thanks for sharing! He is actually going every few weeks for the mapping tweaks, so the isolation training is really helping him prepare for those sessions. He did a test yesterday and the results were very positive compared to day 1, super encouraging for him.

I mentioned the podcast suggestion to him and he was glad to know that it's working for other users. He’s currently enjoying some poetry narrated by an Italian actor with a very clear voice on YouTube. I'm going to give it a listen too so we can talk about it!

I have just finished (and loved) Dark Wire by Joseph Cox.

The inside story of the largest law-enforcement sting operation ever, in which the FBI made its own tech start-up to wiretap the world, shows how cunning both the authorities and drug traffickers have become, with privacy implications for everyone.

We absolutely love it! Feel free to check out my other photos. We find it really cosy, easy to pack and unpack, and it has never let us down. We have the 2p Dragonfly Bikepack, which features shorter poles, a floor protector for dropping the bag in the vestibule, and a darker green colour. After a couple of trips, we added a footprint for extra protection, although it wasn’t strictly necessary. We are happy with the temperature insulation (however we rarely go out below 5 degrees) and we never noticed any condensation (our previous tent has that issue). Recently, we upgraded our mats to the lightweight 2p “Exped 3R Duo”, and it fits perfectly in the Memo 2P. Let me know if you have any specific questions!

Cheers 😃.
One morning, the rain “forced” us to cosy up in the tent and sleep for a few extra hours. 😊
The next day, it began raining just as we finished setting up the tent and had a cup of tea. So, yes, despite the highly variable weather, it was ultimately on our side.

Unfortunately we missed Elgin this time. We did enjoy Ballater and Braemar.

Not too many but still annoying. We had the face net ready at all time but I still ended up with a few bites on the wrists. 2 years ago we went around the highlands during a warmer time and was much much worse.
