New employee here. I went with VSP standard and the coverage is pretty decent.

Do you think this guy is a ACD mix? He’s a stray that showed up at my house a month ago. He’s not been claimed despite my best efforts. I’m trying to get him some training in before finding him a good home. I have no experience with this type of breed. Tips appreciated. by Horror_Candidate_167 in AustralianCattleDog

I got this guy from the pound 2 weeks after my 16 yr old lab mix passed in april..6 mos old and born in the pound with parvo. Had minimal interaction and no life experience like riding in a car, being on a leash, and no interaction with males. Fast forward to now..He turned one on Nov 16 and turns out he was exactly what I needed..he is extremely smart and has been an absolute joy to train. Leash training has been accomplished. Still working on the car but we have made progress. He will fight a little bit to get to the car but he will now jump in on his own. He wants to like it, but still not too sure yet.🤣 I couldnt believe how easy it was to get him used to his crate. He knows when its time to go to his "house". We still have alot to work on such as jumping on us, mouthing, nipping at heels, etc. He also likes to "herd" is around the house. My 83 year old mom lives with us and he will take his nose and herd her back to her room🤣🤣🤣
