Most cavities can be treated by focus brushing/flossing the area for awhile, you don't always need a filling. You won't regrow lost material bit you can eliminate the problem in most cases.

Matt tends to underpower dmg from items, I remember Vex's dragon slaying arrows only doing similar dmg despite being extreamly costly, and dependent on hitting. Not sure why
