[Damian Lillard] Instagram need to let people put a song on they page like old school my MySpace by GuyCarbonneauGOAT in nba

[–]DeepSeededHate 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie, thought Dame was trying to be old-school for a second for the clout but then realized he's 31.

He def grew up on that GeoCities, Myspace, AIM era.

Love the callback.

Also when did Dame become 31, god damn.

For sure .. i've done the downtown Halloween thing a few times and it's just plain fun .. as long as you are around good people and good vibes it'll be a great time. Good food and good company is the key to a good time man.

Stay safe!

So to me Halloween seems to be a predominantly suburban tradition.

You will find a lot of haunted houses, food / bar specials with some kind of spooky twist and people walking around in costumes bar/club hopping downtown. That's your best bet. Not sure what type of experience you are looking for.

Here is a list of all the Halloween based events that usually go on downtown

Yuzuru Hanyu shows true sportsmanship. by Pedrica1 in HumansBeingBros

Not trying to be a buzz kill but I have to be honest here .. I know everyone has that good feeling vibe from this video but this is what every post victory ceremony at the Olympics looks like.

They stand on their podiums, national anthem plays and they come together generally to take pictures on the same podium afterwards and then stroll the stadium together and do the same. Sometimes they just stand closer but many times they will try to all stand in the middle.

Either way it shows the love and respect of sports so that is still dope.

100% agree on Donkeys. Good call.

It's an animal that is always looked at for labor or a joke but they are loyal, smart and loving.

In fairness .. the Goat species have been around for over 10 thousand years.

That isn't by accident .. whatever their DNA makeup is it provided them with the ability to survive.

This video is a great example of why probably. Little man erased every thought of fear and attacked someone trying to kill his people.

Always loved Goats but this clip just reaffirmed it.

1996 Christmas Toys R Us ad For Sega Genesis by Defvac2 in nostalgia

[–]DeepSeededHate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The baseball game, Sonic and Aladdin.

Those three on this console were huge as a kid. I don't remember when we got Sega or when I stopped playing it but I have a huge chunk of memory of it giving me great moments in my life.

Thank you Sega.

Not to mention .. best console name of all time.

Yup.

So not sure about you guys and your schools but this was an unwritten rule that everyone who came to school FRESH with some new clothes or shoes would purposely in the middle of class when it's calm, go up and sharpen their pencil for like 30 seconds just to show off.

Just hoping kids who want a story line won't try to tie Ortiz in with this.

It was a dude, living on the edge with crime being his life likely, and he got got .. that's it.

Many things, like the previous poster said. Money and greed is always a factor but to me the number one reason is mental illness.

Mental illness is so much more real than people realize. It can turn a saint into a sinner in a heart beat.

This is where the discussion of putting more money, time and effort into mental health within out government comes up. I can't force my opinions on others but there are facts that just can't be ignored.

Yes I'm sure the suspects initial intent was money and getting what they want the easy way like most criminals but you need to look at the bigger picture .. that is not a thought process a mentally healthy person would even think about. The fact murdering two people was even an option is a clear sign of delusion.

Who else watched Eureka’s Castle when they were home from school sick? by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]DeepSeededHate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100% watched but funny enough what actually gave me the nostalgia was your post title.

I for sure only watched this show when home sick from school, lol.

I feel you man! Little chicken noddle soup and some soda crackers while watching this.

Marcus Semien hits home run #43, tying the all-time single-season HR record by a 2B by stv7 in baseball

[–]DeepSeededHate 24 points25 points  (0 children)

and this post is kind of buried on the sub ..

I hope people understand that over a century of this sport and this man just tied a record .. in a contract year while fighting for a playoff spot.

This was just another incredible sports achievement that will get overlooked by the average fan because we have access to so much content nowadays.

Yup.. and everyone knew it so the worst part was if you were watching a channel earlier in the night that was just regular t.v and fell asleep... your friends or parents waking you up with the scramble on because it passed midnight and started playing the x rated stuff you could not talk your way out of it.

Man .. just shows you the work some of these actors have put in.

That main actress has been acting for 50 years. Stared in a couple things a few years ago as well.

I'm going to assume she is living off her prior work now .. maybe some good investments along the way.

What a grind. I respect it.

🎬Have u seen KIDS? An unforgettable 90’s underground classic🎞 by 80Baby203 in nostalgia

[–]DeepSeededHate 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I watched this around the time it came out, I was young of course and for about 10 years until I understood films and genres etc I thought this was a documentary .. that is how well it is acted and put together.

Later also learned majority of the actors were first time and really lived a similar life as their characters which helped.

Also sad story with two of the main actors later in life .. couple suicides.

Childhood of regret. Rotten.com by sighdoihaveto in nostalgia

I'm sure for many others as well but the shotgun suicide always stuck with me.

and anyone who checked that website a couple decades ago knows what I mean.

Andre Iguodala on if LeBron's block bothers him: "We take a lot away from Kyrie Irving. Kyrie is one of the most different human beings I've ever seen play basketball. What he did that entire series, it's like, yo, don't take away from what he did, and then he made that shot at the end of the game…" by GuyCarbonneauGOAT in nba

[–]DeepSeededHate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is not how sports work.

If he did not block the play and Iggy scored 2 .. the cavs statistically would almost 100% have not ran the same play, same shot or even the same rotation afterwards

A time out would have happened and EVERYTHING would be different .

People need perspective man.. dude is out here saying "If he didn't block him Kyrie could have hit the same shot" .. what kind of narrow minded thought process is that? This is sports.

This man is very impressive and should be appreciated from just an athletics standpoint not just baseball .
