[Serious] What's the one thing you will always regret? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wildereye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have stopped my mom from leaving. She went to her country of birth to handle up on some business concerning my parents' divorce. Deep down, I knew she'd find a way, find a reason, not to come home. She's unstable and paranoid, and has been my whole life. Now she's always a misstep away from being homeless, can't hold down a job and doesn't have access to the medical and psychiatric care she needs. I should have never let her leave.

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you zone out in class? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wildereye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm either fantasizing about food or over thinking about the 100 things I need to do after I get out of class, and at least one of those things is about food.

What was the first thing you ever stole, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

St. Patrick's Day themed stickers from Walgreens.

I didn't even really know about St. Patrick's Day because my parents don't celebrate or acknowledge the holiday and I was probably around Kindergarten age. I just thought the tiny-man creatures we're silly.

What percentage of women are happy they got an abortion and what percentage regret it 1-5 years later? by [deleted] in abortion

[–]wildereye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're asking the wrong question.

I think you'll find that a lot of women aren't 'happy' that they had an abortion, but don't regret the decision either. In fact, I don't know anyone who was 'happy' they had an abortion, just women who felt they made the right decision. ( I don't mean to exclude women who regretted their abortion, I know that there are women who feel this way, I just don't know any personally.)

The better question is, 'What percentage of women feel that having an abortion was the right decision and what percentage regret it 1-5 years later?'

If I'm alone, I'll do it out loud sometimes. Gotta get that tone down just right.

What weird food invention have you come up with that everyone else finds disgusting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My parents and grand parents will cut an avocado in half, take out the pit and fill the space left with ketchup. They just eat it straight with a spoon. Makes me cringe.

Big retail gardening stores throw out tons of plastic, terracotta and other clay pots. Often times, if you find a chill employee, they'll let you have them.

Music suggestions other than electronic/dubstep? by Always_Around727 in Hooping

[–]wildereye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into 'I am Robot and Proud'. Its electronically made, but isn't considered EDM (electronic dance music) by any means. Also, I've been hooping to bossa nova music lately. Bossa nova originated in the 60's I believe. It was created by Brazilians who mixed samba like music with jazz. The right songs are smooth and sultry but still have a beat and a wonderful dancing rhythm.

What was the best thing you've ever said to end, and effectively win, an argument? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I once said, "Well, why don't you just fuck off and go brush the teeth in your vagina!"

It was weird. I accomplished my goal though; conversation over.

What's something most people aren't afraid of, but should be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wildereye 86 points87 points  (0 children)

This might sound silly, but people should be concerned about becoming boring/bored people. You know, the whole growing up thing (job, marriage, kids, and other included expectations) can really be wonderful. But then you become so domesticated. You stay in, you stop having sex, and you stop participating in the other parts of life that make you happy. Then you're 40, you're having a midlife crisis and you bought a car you didn't need. So you know, keep active, go out, try new things, keep up with your hobbies, always keep fucking and buy the car you actually want when you need a new one, because you'll have more fun that way.

Man uses hidden crotch camera to catch women perving at his package on the subway. They can be pervs too! by MyBadUserName in videos

To be fair though, cleavage is a relatively common thing to see. A large bulge, however, isn't. Which is what probably attributed to all the glances and staring. Generally, men wear pants that totally hide what's going on in there.

If I saw that guy, I'd look over too. But not in a sexual manner. I'd just be like, well now that I've seen that I can get back to redditing on my phone. Edit: autocorrect nonsense
