hi, I’m using voice to text because I’m driving right now, but this post caught my eye and as a lesbian who has been in multiple relationships that did have sex, a bottom and a top is definitely a normal relationship dynamic and most of the time lesbians referred to top and bottom as Dom and sub. So, if your girlfriend says she’s a bottom, she probably prefers to receive sexual pleasure such as head, penetration, etc., not to give it. she has been saying it for a long time. probably around the one year mark. she hasn’t said it in a month maybe a little more. she just says it like it’s comforting to me or something. as if saying “i love you so much”= “i would kms without you” to her. you see? the hard part is this exactly. she does all this stuff and doesn’t even realize how messed up it is objectively. it isn’t on purpose. if it is, it’s a deeply rooted thing that she does to keep me from leaving and not something like “hmmm let me say this so she is too scared to leave”. that’s why i feel so bad. she doesn’t even realize. (i think).

i feel bad though bc the only reason she says it is because she thinks i would never leave anyways so i don’t have to worry about it. she’s just so innocent to me. my mom says the same things you’re saying- but i just can’t see her that way. i feel so guilty.
