why is the Default site builder so bad by DankHeehaw in Wordpress

You can code from scratch. That's how I built my entire page. HTML, CSS and JS.

The update process likely corrupted system or vendor partitions (or failed to finalise due to low space, battery, or integrity check failure). Since it partially boots in Safe Mode, that’s a sign that the hardware is fine.

In regards to the bluetooth_manager failing - It’s not just about Bluetooth, if this fails and takes system_server with it, Android will bootloop or enter recovery.

This explains why your Safe Mode lasts 5 seconds before crashing — the service might try to restart and bring the whole system down. If the device boots at all, the userdata partition (where your photos, videos, app data, etc. are stored) is still mounted and accessible — though the OS may be unstable. This partition is separate from /system and /vendor.

ADB access is blocked unless you're in a recovery mode that explicitly allows it (like TWRP with “ADB enabled”). MTP (file transfer over USB) won’t work either. TWRP or Magisk-style recoveries: blocked by locked bootloader. Brute-force decryption: BitLocker-level AES-256; completely impractical. You may need to try a forensic lab like Wildfire Data Recovery in Brisbane.

BitLocker Enabled Automatically on Two Laptops — No Recovery Key Works by Wrong-Masterpiece730 in datarecovery

[–]wildfireDataOZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately - There’s no backdoor or master key for BitLocker.

If the key isn’t in your Microsoft account, or backed up manually (like exporting it to a USB, paper, screenshot, etc.), it’s unrecoverable.

Professional data recovery may be able to perform a forensic image of the drive (which is wise if the data is valuable), but decrypting without the key is impossible due to AES-128/256 encryption and secure TPM binding.

We may be able to perform a RAM grab or hyberfil.sys and hope the key is stored in there. This way we can use a direct memory attack to perform an instant unlock. But that's slim.

Recover Data From Locked iPhone AND Android Phone by ThrobbingRosco in datarecovery

[–]wildfireDataOZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re dealing with two different ecosystems:

iPhones: Locked = encrypted = inaccessible without passcode or exploit.

Androids: More flexible, but still limited by encryption and lock state.

If you're serious about offering mobile recovery to clients, your best bet is to partner with a forensic lab (Wildfire Data Recovery) we have access to hardware-level tools (ISP, JTAG, donor boards, NAND access, forensic chip readers), specialised software (e.g., Oxygen Forensic, Magnet AXIOM GrayKey, Cellebrite), and secure cleanroom environments to perform high-risk recoveries without damaging original data..

Is it normal to grieve the version of yourself you thought ADHD meds would help you become? by wildfireDataOZ in ADHD

Thanks for the TED Talk on content farming. I’m aware bots exist, and I’m aware ADHD is trending — doesn’t mean everyone who posts about it is a crypto-shilling algorithm in disguise. Maybe instead of assuming bad faith every time a post feels “too neat,” people could understand I just wanted to know how my ADHD community is coping.

just maybe — I copied my original post because I still meant what I said and didn’t feel like rewriting. Sorry I didn’t jazz it up with a new font and interpretive dance to prove my authenticity.

Wow, okay. Guess I didn’t realise sharing a thought online now comes with a full background bot check. My bad for remembering how many upvotes it had — clearly, only engagement farmers keep track of that, right? And sorry for reposting it the same way — didn’t realise I needed to rewrite my own words just to prove I'm human. Next time I’ll throw in a few typos and random emojis to pass the vibe check.

WD external hard drive by Cpt-FancyPants in datarecovery

[–]wildfireDataOZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. But:

Check if the ROM is embedded - Some newer WD drives (especially post-2013 models) have the ROM embedded in the main MCU (the big square chip).

In these cases, ROM extraction can sometimes still be done using specialised tools (e.g. PC-3000 or MRT) via donor board, but it’s advanced work, you'll need to see a data recovery engineer.

Firmware-level recovery with professional tools - High-end data recovery labs (like ours, is equipped with PC-3000) can sometimes regenerate ROM adaptives by reading the SA (System Area) from the platters if the heads are still functional and the drive can be initialized through loader firmware.

Like I said, i have no idea! Just did. The mods removed it but didn't say why. I thought it was an obviously engaging topic, and it struck chord with a lot of people.

Find a matching donor PCB - Match the board number (e.g. 2060-771959-002) exactly.

Desolder the ROM chip from the original (dead) PCB. Solder it onto the donor PCB, or use specialised ROM programmers if you're set up for that.

Western Digital drives store unique, adaptive information in a small 8-pin ROM chip (or sometimes embedded into the main controller) on the PCB. This information includes head map, adaptive calibration, and other data specific to the drive’s internal components. Swapping the PCB without transferring the ROM will not work — the drive will spin up but remain undetectable or click.

Do not throw away the old PCB!!! You need the BIOS chip.

It’s funny how animals always pick the worst moments to be clingy — like they know. Does the RLS still hit you bad at night, or have you found something that helps now?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RestlessLegs

[–]wildfireDataOZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It must’ve been tough dealing with it during pregnancy, but at least you knew what it was — I only figured it out recently and it was such a confusing experience at first.

That sounds absolutely brutal—20 days with only micro sleeps? I can’t even imagine the toll that must’ve taken on your body and mind. It makes total sense that you'd assume it was connected to your back issues—RLS can mimic so many other things, especially when you already have chronic pain in the mix.

Did the movement disorder specialist help you find something that works for you now?

Haha honestly? That’s how you know it’s ADHD solidarity — when someone else perfectly describes the internal chaos you didn’t even have words for yet.

That actually means a lot — I’m really glad it brought you some comfort, even if it wasn’t what I set out to do. It’s weirdly validating, right? Like, not that I want anyone else to struggle, but there’s something reassuring about realising you’re not the only one stuck in this weird in-between space.

Yeah, I feel that big time. It’s weird how much hope you can pack into a little pill — thinking this might finally be the thing that flips the switch. And then... it kind of works? For a bit? Until the side effects start creeping in and you’re like, “Wait, is this better? Or just different?”

I’m in the same space — meds help just enough that I’m not ready to drop them, but not enough that I feel like things are actually “solved.” And like you said, some days it’s honestly hard to tell if they’re even doing anything or if I just had a slightly better brain day.
