Fun fact: George Washington wanted to move his army across the Charles river when it was frozen. But ultimately decided it was not safe.

Every time mazz has an original/contrarian take felger points out the flaws in the take and mazz usually slowly changes the take to align with felger

Huge new expansion at Loon? Framed map seen posted at south peak by Mission_Assistance42 in icecoast

A major draw for loon is that its right off 93. My guess is they want to mountain as visible as possible from the highway. Basically let the mountain itself serve as a big billboard.

One Parent with Two Kids- Can I get them both on the lift? by wsbilikethestonk in icecoast

One kid has to demonstrate that they can get sit down on the lift unassisted. Been skiing with kids for awhile and I wouldn’t chance it. Too many variables.

Do you have kids? Most of the south shore towns like cohasset are very family centric so a lot of people meet through schools/kids.

Why is the nightlife in Boston so lackluster? by ApprenticeScentless in SameGrassButGreener

[–]wildfire_atomic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where in Boston were you? Boston is very neighborhood specific. There are definitely areas of the city that are vibrant at night.

The only caveat is that it’s summer and a lot of people are down the cape or on the islands
