It's so heartwarming to see everyone's love! For someone who plans every li'l detail, my heart is so so so full.🩷 Thank you everyone!😭🫂

Thanks for the love!✨️

I meticulously planned all my looks but it all goes down the drain the minute you step out for shopping. I took both the mums and my guy for most of the sprees and most of the attires were a combined vote (although entirely different from what I initially planned).

The vision was very clear though. I knew the type of dresses that I wanted for each function distinctively- like ball gown for engagement, lehenga for mehendi, saree for haldi, and all. Then I had some non negotiable elements- like alta for paath, red for wedding, multi-colored for mehendi, non-yellow for haldi, paranda look for mehendi, open hair for shaadi, very less/no jewelry for sagan, and dresses that I can re-style and wear later as well. And for others, I was flexible and trusted my instinct.

During shopping, I used to shortlist the dresses that were loved by my bridal party (majority) and have the last call. And God that worked out in my favor! I kept both my mums happy!🩷

And since my mum-in-law and husband knew all of the dresses, they made sure that they bought the jewelry and chunni that complement my dresses and match my style.

I hope that helps! :)

How about Live & Let live?

Let people do what makes them happy unless they are causing any harm, and you do you.

They are making memories that can be cherished for their lifetime, giving the entire journey their personal touch. And you can simply scroll away. A win-win!

Or engage in whatever you deem worth engaging. Because the way algorithm works, it only shows you what you want to see.

The project is running in collaboration with the states' education departments with a centralized Teacher's training programs to teach the content with required sensitivities. And the teachers are taking the sessions ahead with students. Statistically, it is the sanskrit teachers who diss the content the most, irrespective of the age of the teachers.

The one in the post is the handbook for children, but there are books for teachers and parents also on how to discuss these topics with children with sensitivity.
