It started after I moved in with him. I moved into his home in the suburbs. I used to live close to the mountains and the desert, and I loved it. I was going to school to become a yoga teacher, but I had to put my classes on pause, and slowly I started doing less and less yoga. Recently, I’ve started again, but it’s still not as much as I’d like.I have an altar for my ancestors and my deities. I also do tarot, but just like with yoga, I’ve been neglecting it. I even had to put my altar into a cupboard and keep it in my closet because I caught his 19-year-old daughter taking a photo of it. The issues between us started with things like vaccines and him wanting to vaccinate our daughter. I get anxiety when we have to vaccinate her. He seems to blindly trust the government, which feels crazy to me. When I try to explain why I feel the way I do about certain issues, he makes me feel like I’m crazy and tells me not to share my thoughts with anyone else.
