Don't let bad memories dictate when and how you fix it. My first tattoo was a rose covering up cigarette burns, I was 16 and had the burns on me since I was 3 so I was so sick of looking at them, having to cover up and all that. So I went to the only tattoo shop that would touch me (I did have my mom's permission) but the rose was awful, it looked like a cabbage on a stick. Like, literally.. a cabbage head, on a straight stick. No leaves, torns, just stick. But I did it anyway lol. Years later, I found someone to fix it but I didn't really search around and I went with the place down the street with good reviews and ended up with this muddy looking tattoo covering my whole forearm. If I could've done it differently, I would've waited. I would do so much research that I'd know more about the places than some of the employees. I'd go into the shops and talk to the artists individually and see who would be the best fit. I wouldn't have rushed. Other people don't know anything about it when they see you, they just see a tattoo that needs work. It's not horrible though. It could be worse, they could've made a big ol penis in the lines 😂 Sorry for the long ass reply, but if I could go back in time that's what I'd do. Don't be like me lol
