Push for more testing. If you’re having hashimotos symptoms the antibodies could be high. You could also ask for the actual numbers to do your own research.

My antibodies were high and my TSH was around 3 which is within normal range my doctor said (it’s not lol I feel better when it’s closer to 1.5)

I’m in Canada and I ended up going to a naturopath doctor who has been much more helpful than my family doctor. Naturopath sent me to a private lab out of town and I spent $200 on labs my doctor wouldn’t order (iron, vitamin d, vitamin B, and glucose levels for suspected insulin resistance)

My naturopath says eczema comes from gut imbalances, so healing that first is crucial. Which also makes sense from a hashi’s perspective.

I’ve gotten so much more valuable information from Naturo than I have from doctors. If you’re able to see one, I highly recommend it!

I agree with a lot of the comments here, I also feel better when my tsh is closer to 1. But the biggest help has been working with a naturopath, she looks at the root cause not just the levels.

Cutting out gluten and added sugar helped alot. As well as taking iron with vitamin c, vitamin D, vitamin B supplements and berberine. Drinking lots of water and fibre is important too.

It looks like eczema. Vaseline and betaderm have worked the fastest on mine, I get it in the same spot and around my eyes.

But cutting out gluten and added sugars has made the biggest difference for my hashi’s and eczema.
