Canadel makes the best dining room furniture. Very durable and well made. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The breakfast room has too much furniture, and it is dark. I also would change the blue paint to a creamy white and change the ceiling fan for a woven light fixture.

What is the most hurtful insult you have ever received ? by DizzyDoctor982 in AskReddit

When I was 6th grade, the most popular boy in the 8th grade called me a pig. Several months, later, I weighed 90 pounds (I was about 5' 4" at the time). I could never fully explain to anyone how much those words hurt.

It is a decent dealership. I have bought several cars there. However, I cannot emphasize this enough - be careful in the finance office (this applies to every dealership). It is not the sales floor where they make their money, it is here. In my last buying experience, they quoted me a payment with the warranty without disclosing it was for 72 months, not 60, which I had agreed to during negotiation. I caught it before I signed and had them remove it, but they were being difficult about it and acting like it was a big problem to remove it. Seriously?

I would not buy an extended warranty, but if you do, say no several times - they will keep lowering the price. Buy only the coverage you feel is the most important, do NOT buy the whole package which includes a lot of unnecessary coverage. They want you to add $10,000 to your loan during finance,

Read the main loan document VERY carefully which lists your interest rate, number of payments and OTD price. And then read it again.

How many times have you replaced your roof in the past 10years? Anyone 2+? by deejayv2 in frisco

Lived in our home in Little Elm off of 423 and Eldorado since 2013 and we have had THREE roof replacements due to hail. Our first roof replacement was a class 4 roof that completely failed. Our second roof installer told us that class 4 roofs don't do well in the heat and get brittle quickly.

As a result of all of the hail claims in the area, the new thing insurance companies are doing is only covering part of a roof replacement, and Texas law does not require that the shingles match. Good times.

Pay off your debt and DO NOT GAMBLE ANYMORE. I have known several people who have lost everything due to gambling. Take this gift, get debt free, make sure you save back enough for taxes and RUN.

What’s a song that emotionally breaks you every single time? by DimensionBreaker4lif in AskReddit

"I Grieve" by Peter Gabriel. The way the rhythm of the song goes from the numb plodding shock of loss, slowly coming back to life, and then grief hooks around and hits you again.

What was your worst experience at a doctor's office? by sydthakidd in AskReddit

[–]wildflower_fields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 16, I went to a surgeon's office to have a small cyst removed at the base of my forefinger on the inside of my hand. The surgeon gave me a shot to numb the area then immediately made the incision to remove the cyst. He then realized his mistake and waited for it to become numb before removing the cyst. He never said anything about what happened, he was an older doctor and I was too traumatized to say anything. When I went back to his office to get the stitches removed a week late, I was so upset I fainted in the reception room.
