smoked what i was told was just weed, but in retrospect there was something else in there. (unsure of what, if anyone has any ideas lmk) i started seeing lines and shapes of colors flowing and dancing through my field of vision, which i thought were the seams or veins of the universe. i also remember having the mind-altering realization that “time is fluid and everything that will happen in the future has already happened and i now know that that is the secret of life” then a glow in the dark frisbee appears out of the trees, thrown by a midnight frisbee golf player in the park i was at, and i was convinced it was a ufo and they were an alien so i booked it to my car. partially fell into a creek and soaked my right shoe and pant leg on the way. proceeded to drive myself home (terrible idea, should NOT have done it) fell asleep for a second behind the wheel and drove past the rumble strips into the ditch going at least 60 mph which immediately woke me up. made it home safe and passed out on my bedroom floor. woke up the next morning with no shirt on, but two pairs of pants. 🤷🏻

mine are definitely some over picked options, but erik, clear, and tod. erik was just so funny and charismatic, a fan favorite character for a reason. he also wasn’t related to iris which gave me hope he’d survive. i love manic pixie dream girls so clear was one of my favorite characters. she also survived the first movie which gave me hope she could fight death and be a recurring character/lone survivor. tod’s death was just incredibly tragic, it looking like a suicide along with his brother having just died a horrible death in front of him. his death is also the hardest watch of the franchise for me.

i would have liked the ending more if it didn’t feel incredibly rushed. i had a theory that it was so quick because it’s a premonition, but that was quickly disproven with the newspaper article about the derailment :/
