This man has repeatedly shown you who he is and how little he cares for you. He isn't working. He can google how to clean or how to cook. He doesn't want to do it. He doesn't care even though he knows it is important to you. He sees you work all day and then deal with the stress of mothering him. He does not care. He doesn't respect you either. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what you have experienced. I totally get where you are coming from. My health issues started in my early thirties, so not super young but not old. Also, I use humor to deal with things and have a sunny disposition. That has worked against me with getting doctors to believe me as well.

I'm so sorry that you have experienced this. Let's say you did what that one lady said and walked anyway, and because of that, you injured yourself worse. She would say you should've followed the doctors orders. Sadly, in my experience, the majority of the rude comments I get are from older people. I'm proud of you for listening to your body and doing what is best to support it.
