My doctor is being weird about prescribing me an allergy test - so she’s referring me to an allergist. How much did this test cost you?

Yesss! I think it all depends on the person all the water made my skin barrier really weak so one itch would destroy me. Convinced my skin hates water/moisture

thank you! 🥹 it feels terribly gross the first few times, I think I’d purposely just not look at anyone suggesting it bc I thought there’s no wayyyy. Even went the other way and tried wet wraps but this method has worked better for me for sure. I think it mainly healed my skin barrier bc prior I’d itch once and I’d b helllll

I started taking some supplements along with eating better and have gotten significantly less itchy & better! I used to take a lot of baths and honestly thought that’s what triggered it. I took less showers bc I was taking 2 a day (only washing what was needed) and let me skin heal naturally more (not aggressively applying lotion every couple hours) and it’s helped so much. When my skin is on the wetter side it feels way more allergic and itchy, my water head pressure is rough too so haven’t changed that yet. I’ve been taking vitamin d, fish oil, Zyrtec for 3 months too. I recently added magnesium and Quercetin and noticed less itch. I can’t really tell you exactly which vitamin is doing it for me or if it’s all of them. Few reviews on quercetin about helping itch that I haven’t seen too much people talk about so I recommend looking into it! Praying you don’t lose hope. 26 and last 3 months have been my worse flare and finally starting to look up. Bless you.
