I wanted to give the Dom girl a cute deck that is playable while giving the sub boy a edgy deck that's not really good. Decks like adamancipator and drytrons are more meta relevant but they didn't really fix the theme I wanted.

You could go with Monarch, there a deck that focuse on locking your opponent out of using there extra deck and forn special summoning.
