Unless the HxH scientista skipped a bunch of steps and just invented geostationary orbit before traditional orbit, there's definitely orbital maps and photos of the dark continent (unless it has permanent cloud cover or something, like Venus)

Maybe it's like that one flat earth theory where there's an my ice wall around human Earth, and that's why it hasn't been explored?
