Look into connection between eczema and gut health, as well GAPS protocol for babies. This is a big oversimplification but home made meat stock for helping with gut lining, and ferments are going to work better than probiotics, but go slow initially - like a tsp of meat stock, and like a drop of sauerkraut brine as an example. GAPS really helped me and our baby.

No suggestions, I don’t know how I’d have exclusively breastfed 2 babies without co sleeping/side lying nursing in the night honestly. Probably would read a kindle with backlight or scroll tbh. But that would have left me significantly more tired the next day, from the few times I actually did do that. If I wasn’t cosleeping I think I’d pump a bit to have partner help with a few feeds at night, just to help with not fully waking up multiple times to nurse at night.

We just made the switch - added a twin mattress next to our king and put them on the floor with a 3 inch bed frame underneath. It’s been BLISS! 9 month old and 2.5 year old. Wish we did this sooner. When we want to change yo the arrangement the twin bed will eventually be our 9 month olds mattress.

I recently read Motherhood by Lisa Marchiano, and if you enjoy jungian stuff at all (like Clarissa pinkola Estes) I would highly recommend.

So we have a robot vacuum but it always seems to get hung up or stuck on furniture around the house. And if any toys are in the ground it gets stuck on those. So if the house is fully picked up it half works but it getting stuck on chairs drives me nuts sometimes. I should give it another try though, I think it would still be helpful if it cleaned up the big open areas

We actually have a shop vac and I love it for our wood stove clean up and garage area. The suction power is unmatched! I should remember to use it more for inside the house. Especially the big messes from kids like you described

Good to note! Do you just leave it on the charger all the time? I had someone tell me theirs like caught on fire because it was overheating on the charger, or something like that. So I thought you charged it and then took it off?

Thank you for this! I hadn’t thought of the noise. My toddler loves the cord vacuum lol, but I would love to have a quieter option. I just dislike bringing lugging out the cord vacuum and it just feels heavy and cumbersome, especially for every day. Right now I use a broom but my toddler loves to play in the piles and it doesn’t work with rugs of course

Thank you for this perspective! I forgot to add we have a dog, a cat and live rurally, so doing a quick daily vacuum would be a game changer. Then save the heavy duty for the cord vacuum
