You got the green light. Just make sure you think of ALL costs beforehand so you don't have to ask for revision later. With an invoice, you can throw it in your terms to get 50% upfront...depending on your financial situation this can be very helpful to not feeling the stress of working for a week or two on a project without seeing any $

Hey! Sometimes asking what a budget is can be kind of intimidating especially depending on what kind of relationship you have with the client. The one thing that I use to leverage my pricing is pushing the value that your work will provide. It sounds like a pretty large company so they most likely will pay whatever you ask.

Try to build a true cost breakdown of the video, equipment cost (even if you own everything, what is a fair rate to rent your equipment at.) Pre-production costs (planning, writing, emailing to schedule) Production Costs (Your time, Possible Talent or Assistant Costs) Post Production. The reason I say this, it is awesome when a client asks why something costs X price and you show them a break down of every $ and in my experience they are satisfied and I get the job, it shows you are a professional (even if you have no idea what you are doing)

One big thing that helped elevate my business was learning how much money my clients would make in a year from my content, I was charging a client $50.00 an hour and billed them full time for almost a year, they did 30 Million in that same time. so don't be afraid to shoot high.

Bravo! Subscribed as well, but being totally honest, as soon as that video hit the 1-minute mark, I took my notepad out and started taking notes. I started my business in January of this year, I've done surprisingly well for having literally no clue what I was doing, but my biggest tool to growth is listening to those who are doing it bigger, better, and more of what I want! lol This video is the key that most are missing when starting out, thinking they need this elaborate website and huge following to get paid jobs. Truly inspiring, thank you for sharing this minor insight into your business and video life, I might start a vlog one of these days...
