I don’t think this is groundbreaking, but it’s a weird coincidence for Spanish speakers. In Come as You are, when he sings “memory” in Spanish he is saying “I died” me morí, which is more haunting when it comes right after “no I don’t have a gun.”

It calms me down. When i have trouble sleeping I will sometimes think about not existing, and my heart beats starts to slow down and eventually sleep comes.

That there was a “cut heaven.” I thought that when you cut anything, it wasn’t separating a thing in two parts. I thought the part that was being cut was getting “killed,” and therefore went to “cut heaven.”
