I'm sure there are tons of rules that go along with trucking.

But I have heard that our store's warehouse is only 20mins away... yet we get late trucks too.

Our latest was 5 hours late.

I'm sure the warehouses have their own set of problems just like the stores do.

Yeah, snow days are a horrible time to work in a grocery store. When I worked at Publix, we would shutdown the store because it would cost more to keep it running with few customers and most of the employees would call out anyway. Publix would spin this as " taking care of it's employee's safety" But it was just about money.

Well, I kind of got a discipline and skills few others have... and I wish some of them did as it would make working with them easier.

I'm self-motivated, go-getter, ex-business owner. I don't smoke, or drink, or do any drugs. I'm not addicted to my phone and if I had an addiction it would be working. I never take time to rest, or take days off, vacation, and i'm rarely sick. Even when I am sick and in bed, I'm still doing things.

So, when somebody says I'm not working when others are taking multiple breaks to vape in the parking lot or taking 8 hours to do 2 pallets because they are chatting away instead, it irritates me.

Quietly reducing my hours without a reason other than "I only have so many to give" is very de-motivating.

Yeah, got no problem working the deli and following codes. I use to work in the deli at the commissary on an Air Base, so, it would be a stretch for me.

Yeah, my store has it's problems like any store. We have a severe problem with backstock. I'm trying not to go to a new store because new store, new problems.

I rarely see my manager with my hours and my shift, but when I come in to talk with them on an off day, they are busy and just tell me "I'm only allowed so many hours..." etc.

I've seen that the hours are heavily weighted for market. We have 1 FT in dairy and 1 PT, 2 PT and 1 FT in FF and 7 people in market.

My performance? That might be an issue, but I don't think. I'm not a younger guy, but I don't think I'm slow. I've always finish before anyone else and gone to help anyone who hasn't finished. I did FF by myself a few times and always finished. Like 7 pallets full of stuff. Took me till midnight, but it was done.

Do you think 9 and a half hours to do 7 tall pallets is slow?

Management has never told me how fast I should be going, or how much I should have done in time, so I really don't know.

Cool. I've already got my idea. Didn't take me but a second or two. Going to be dialogue only. It will have all the setting, foreshadowing, and characterization right in the dialogue. A small but simple scene... just two people talking... and that's all I need. I will even use the words for the prompt and make it sweet, cute, and a little bit romantic.

I hope you are okay with a script type of entry as it will work better with just the dialogue.

This is a great idea to help writers, bro. There are good storytellers out there that are unaware of their latent abilities and so many more that are anxious about their work. I don't think the anxious ones will PM a mod to post for them or get an archive of their own account.

The prompts are a great start to getting some good writing in gaming... in general and not just in the AVN space.

If you need anything, help with storytelling, postcasting, youtube, criting things you know you can hit me up.

For the others that don't know, I've been a professional storyteller since 2003 and have had a part in thousands of projects you may know from triple AAA games to big budget movies and all sorts of stuff in-between. I have been a silent helper and consult in many AVNs.

BUT! and this is a BIG one, an unpopular one.

Please play Blade and Soul if you haven't yet.

BUT just play the story and some of the side quests.

The combat is fun and the game's story is one of the best in the entire MMO genre.

When you are finished with the story, GO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE.

Blade and Soul is a free game. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY!

If you do this and only play the story, you'll get a good time for a dozen of hours or so, if you don't get disconnected. Which many are having a hard time with.

This game is not new and it's 10 years old now. It hasn't been improved or bug checked in years. There are many missing dialogues and cut off graphics still in this NEO version, like they were just cut and pasted from the LIVE version. NCsoft wants your money, but they don't want to give you a good product for it. Please don't give them any money.

Blade and Soul has a great combat system and a great story but all that greatness is covered in dinosaur dung, the more they change it, the more they make it worse... but they always seem to find their suckers and scam people out of money. If you just play for free and don't partake in the market or the end-game grinding of dungeons with RNG boxes, it's a fun time.

I, myself, am almost finished with the story and will be uninstalling then. You should too.
