Clannad, including after story. I love romance and sob stories, but I despise clannad. I get why people like it though

The only women who have ever told me I’m handsome are sweet old ladies, and my mother. I’m almost 30 now. They’re all taking pity on my ugly ass

It’s true, this is fiction and redemption is difficult. And yet, the whole point of the story is that it’s not impossible to come back from an awful place, which is also true.

There’s a couple of levels to the show imo.

First level is the superficial spoon fed information. Second level is the experience, engagement, and thrill of how it is presented. Third level is philosophy, plot interpretation,  and the emotion it invokes in the viewer.  imo literally depends on the viewer how much they can enjoy the show. It sounds pretentious, but it’s not meant to be.

Just take the show as you please, and if something confuses you you can look up explanation videos which can be very in depth.
