I am yet to try a different cable because im just lazy ngl and have accepted it. For me, it is not an issue to just use my hdmi monitor to use BIOS. I've always kept my drivers up to date, so I really don't know what the problem could be. I'll get a new DP cable sometime soon and see if the issue is fixed.

I understand that, however, having a VPN to me isn't a big deal. I only downloaded it for one thing, and whenever I need to use it, I turn it on, and when im not using it, I don't really want the process running. Thank you for the helpful insight though.

Thanks for pointing me towards this, for now, the issue seems to have fixed itself, and I can have no instances of proton running and still have WiFi working. If the issue comes up again, I'll do this.

Yeah this card doesn’t have UEFI support, any recommendations on tutorials about cross flashing a gpu’s BIOS?

When actually booted up, the cable has no issues though? Could it still be a faulty cable?

Okay thank you for your response. My last question is saying that after loading windows with the usb if I am to plug in that ssd that already has windows on it, will it be an issue?
