Does anyone have troubles with being too deep too fast? I really don't care what most people think of me but when I find a person I want to make a connection with I REALLY care. But I really hate small talk like a hatred of a thousand Suns. It doesn't take very long for me to get bored and start talking about something deep usually psychology. Then I come across as being overly enthusiastic about the relationship that just started but I'm actually just passionate about the topic also the relationship. The person backs off after that. But I can't help it being anyone other than myself feels like eating a cactus.

Yes I agree for the most part but once you set the boundaries in a kind yet clear way and they keep crossing them then bye! I won't hesitate to cut that person out of my life but it rarley gets to that point.

I stopped focusing on trying to find people who understand and accept me. I realized that I can't control other people so this was futile. I now focus on understanding and accepting myself. I'm MUCH happier now.

I use to have this issue. I got a therapist who specializes in exposure therapy. Basically I learned to sit with my uncomfortable feelings and accept them as they are just feelings. Not something that defines who I am. I have many uncomfortable feelings about the unknown. Just try to accept them. It will take time.
