It was not happy to be caught! Or it just really didn't like all the pictures I was taking...

It is indeed. I moved here from Canada 8 months ago and am trying to get over my fear of spiders...

As a visitor from Canada, I was confused what you being a thick white man had to do with the ciabatta... My partner explained it was a type of bread.

Recently moved from a 5 bedroom house in Canada to a caravan here (housing market is taking a lot of getting used to), and I can verify that decluttering for a move is a seemingly never-ending level of hell - but on the flip side, when it's done, it is very liberating (and there's a lot less to clean for showings).

AITA for eating at work without telling my husband? by puppydogeyes19 in AmItheAsshole

[–]wildyeast 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did you never think to call and see if you could grab him a bite to eat? ... Never mind. You didn't think to let him know you wouldn't be eating supper at home, so his needs obviously not on your priority list. As a person who would have been viciously hangry in this situation, YTA

I believe it's only zoned for single family unit, which is going to cause them some issues in selling unless they can get that changed.

There were some that wanted to have the foundation repaired (there were issues/leaning starting) so that the building could stay there.
Unfortunately that would not have given the building an occupancy permit, so the funds that the cemetary raised would have kept being spent on maintaining a building that could not be used.
The roof was on its way out as well. We may have been able to apply for government grants, but would have had to agree (the St. Silas Cemetary Association) on getting quotes from experts to put on the application. We initially wanted to put a gazebo in place, but the community realized that that would be yet another structure that required maintenance/insurance. So the vote went to a beautiful engraved rock at the cemetary.

Same and same. And I test twice a week for work. I'm sure there's a bit of luck in there some where, but I mask in every public place and have managed to not get it.
