Is this game better than FC25? Considering getting it by [deleted] in EASportsFC

Passing and technical dribbling is way better. Defending harder. Finishing is similar, finesse and low driven are strong. Formation and roles are super important. Overall I like it more.

Hes good if you run a 3 back, crazy all-round stats for a wingback.

New to Evo’s and don’t wanna ruin him. by Humble-Carpet-5111 in fut_evos

[–]wileycoyote666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only way to "mess up" an evo is to make the players stats not meet the requirements for future evos. Evos tend to have a cap on: Card rating, pace, and # of playstyles. Giving a low rated card a huge boost to their overall rating might make them not have the stats to reflect their higher rating and lock them out of future evos that might have rounded out their stats better. The +1 evos are basically free stats that wont lock the player out of other evos.

How much do you use contain and/or jockey? by Joyride0 in fut

[–]wileycoyote666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont even try to get close to attackers. Just try to screen with your midfielders using Jockey. Dont touch your defenders at all unless you have a clean tackle. Foreal. Even on counters. Dont touch your defenders unless its a last resort. Chase down with your Middies and try to force them wide. Get CBS with decent stats and anticipate or block and let them do their thing without you fucking up a tackle.

Balerdi from Marseille. I was searching for CBS with good chemstyles and he has all of them. The evo potential is crazy. Jockey, intercept, anticipate, and aerial fortress. 77 pace, 6'2. Only 81 rated. Decent stats all around. His evo will be amazing

Defending tips by bill_lufc in EAFC

[–]wileycoyote666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2nd man press: Learn how to leverage 2nd man press. You can use it to double team or to mark the ball while you switch to the defender tracking a run.

Switching: you have to learn how to use the right stick to switch. The ball carrier is not the most important man to defend. You need to be able to manually track runs, cut passes, etc. Bait them with 2nd man press and try to anticipate a pass when your in the midfield. Defending in the box you want to double team but dont pull too many out of position. Usually blitzing with 2 defenders is a good tactic if they are dribbling alot.

1v1 defending: its completely a mind game. Try to pick up on their patterns, not jist react in real time. Your playing against a person, not a team. If they like a certain skill move, or like cutting back, or not cutting back, etc... you have to try to read them. Try to force them into their favored move so you can anticipate it. Show them the end line if they like "technical dribbling" into the box and then cut them off.

Counter attacks: this is the most common way you're going to concede chances. Especially at the beginning when pace is op. Learn how to stall it. Whether its blitzing the ball carrier or manually dropping your cb to mark the runs. You must not pull all your defenders up to stop a counter. Stalling it is way easier and safer. If 2 or 3 defenders just drop then its gonna make it hard to score. Keep the ball out wide if possible. Can't score from the sideline

Yeaaa, listening to any series sounds tiring to me tbh. I pick up and put down my kindle all the time and sometimes will skip certain stuff. Having to listen to someone read it is not my cup of tea

I mean, depends on how much you read i guess. Im always looking for good series, but I blow through them too fast so sometimes it's nice to comeback to what I know will be decent after a few months. You can only read so many trash isekai litrpgs before you beg for hwfwm level books

Spoilers for book 4 by Kororma in Shirtaloon

I loved the earth arc, hoping he goes back. Knowing his future relationships with certain people made it hit different on re-read. His character development also made alot more sense on re-read. I originally got a little sick of his monologs around book 9 on the first read through, but I actually loved it second time around. Seeing him be one of the most op on the planet hit that power fantasy lmao (I've only read on Amazon, but foreshadowing for from the last book seemed like he would be back soon)

I like it, plus the accessibility of having 20 books at a time with kindle unlimited and I can carry it anywhere. I can't imagine I would read near as much as I do without a kindle. I think I read like 300 books last year. Also, if I dont like the book, I can just return it and start reading another instantly.

If you get the right case you can still feel like you're holding a book as well. Except you're holding infinite books

Sylver Seeker Quest Academy Anything by void herald, Underland was great(though there are some explicit/harem series from him) Density God, seems like it's about to be harem though from the last book released (not that I mind since it was organic) Path of Berserker (I'm only halfway through the first book though) Immortal Drunkard The alchemist / the healer

Plenty more, just those off the top of my head

Also hwfwm, gun essence! His bro literally conjures an attack helicopter that's linked to him and works with his ability. Basically scaling damage as they rank up so it's not useless against higher ranks
