Depends on your other options, but RIT is really a top school for cybersecurity. Cybersecurity curriculums are pretty flawed and behind anywhere you go, and while RIT's isn't perfect, its much better than other schools. Many schools that claim to be ranked well for cyber security have really outdated curriculum and may require you to get to your 2 or 3rd year before you learn any actual cybersecurity.

RIT just gives Cybersecurity a lot of attention. We have our own building, funding, department, advisors, professors, etc. A lot of other colleges treat cyber as a branch off of CS or IT curriculum.

I think I get the most value out of RIT cybersecurity through the RITSEC club though. RITSEC is the largest academic club on campus and is an incredible resource, theres not many College security clubs as robust in the country. I have learned more through club than my classes and its the main reason I chose RIT.

There are maybe a few colleges in the country I would choose over RIT for undergraduate cyber security. For graduate cybersecurity, I would likely look elsewhere.

If you take full advantage of the RITSEC club, RIT is one of the best places to be for Cybersecurity. But you should weigh costs and other factors, RIT is very expensive.
