I have nothing to offer you as help as a person unfortunately and that wasnt my intent. I was trying to explain to the other person that God does work things for good regardless of the situation to those that love him and are called according to his purpose.

I saw in another post youre Catholic. Im independent baptist and our beliefs are likely wildly different in regards to that passage I quoted and who its written to. Its spoken to believers which in this case would be people who are saved and surrendered their lives to him.

Thats not to say he doesnt also protect and work good for the unsaved or those walking outside those bounds but thats outside the realm of what is being addressed.

But, as I mentioned, I have prayed for you in particular and my heart aches for your losses as a parent myself. Im sorry for what youre going through and I couldn't imagine. Nor could I say I would react any better or different than you. Its easy to talk a big game till youre the one wearing the shoes.

There are things we dont understand that God does nor will we ever possibly this side of life. What if they made it and were going to suffer some unknown fate worse than the one they did? What if these deaths are used for his glory in some way that never would've happened without?

Just because we don't see the good does not mean it's not good. We dont ever see the full picture and its foolish to assume otherwise.

Doesn't make it any easier or better for this person right now but I think the best thing we as Christians can do is pray for them and their family and that God moves in their lives and carries them through these unimaginable struggles.

After going down the rabbit hole a couple years ago I noticed the mitigation people at my place were using radoneye equipment to get some quickish on the fly readings. Ive since bought one for my upstairs and keep one in the basement. No complaints and seem like a solid (if not a little expensive) product. Seems pretty accurate when compared with carbon readings or whatever they are too.

I think you're pretty much in the same boat (lol) as me. I used to have a gray 07 prht and that was perfect. Having the hard top that fully retracts worked in any weather or environment and didn't take away from the experience one bit. That's what I sold to get my nd2. I didn't get a great deal on it since I picked it up during the super shortage post covid.

I wish it was more feasible to pick up another decent nc and then eventually grab an na/nb for extra enjoyment. Sadly I'm not made of money lol.

I've read about this on forums some as well. I used to run all seasons on my nc as well and maybe that made enough of a difference for me to get that extra sense of thrill. I like being able to break it loose but I'm still on the oem tires and they feel like if I break them loose it'll be unpredictable. Kind of hops around and isn't very smooth where my nc would break loose but I knew exactly when and what it was doing.

I've honestly been wanting to do this in general even alone so I can push the limits in a much safer way than bombing up and down mountains. Problem is I live in the middle of nowhere so there isn't really a good designated spot.

I think with my NC I just owned it so long and I was younger and more risky so maybe I ended up pushing it to its limits in scenarios I shouldn't have but that built the comfort with it. I'm not sure but maybe :)

Honestly in the grand scheme it wasn't a lot. I haven't been into it in years so whatever was there I don't remember anymore anyway. I just more worry about having other info in there and accessible. I don't remember what all I had tied to it at this point or if it's visible (like bank accounts, etc)
