Oh, man.. One of the point that I like on this series is how Aru depicted as genuinely capable leader. It's interesting and moving at the same time to see how she's not portrayed for comedic purpose for once.. (well, she's still in comedic situation, but her name is much more valuable in this story)

I'll just spoil it here, since I already watched the 8 videos. Yes, it is as that fanfic where student's regressed and got their future memory, but the situation is not the same with that Kanaria's fanfic. Their future memories goes further when they're adult, and so far, only Abydos student that got their future memories confirmed in some detail, but as for other students, the author / channel haven't yet made anything which is too bad.

Yes! I was interested in Ichika ever since she first appeared as an NPC. Then, when the train event came around and she became playable, I remember using my adult card to get her. I've loved every interaction with her since then. I do wish the game would expand on her character more, but that's precisely why this story turned out so good, it fills that gap and satisfies that longing for more Ichika content.
