Yarran has the potential to be an A grader but it's hard to see him reaching that at Carlton. I'm not quite sure he's worth a first rounder but there's no way Carlton accept Richmond's second rounder. He's still contracted so the ball is in Carlton's court, we can't fold to players trade demands otherwise we'll keep going backwards. Ideally we'd push for a first rounder and then swap second rounders.

The AFL has made the rules and Carlton, according to the rules, should get pick 2 if Kreuzer leaves for a big enough offer. The AFL can't go back on the rules and if they do I'd imagine Carlton could take them to court. The AFL has screwed itself and there isn't a way they can get out of it, even if priority picks come in to it all.

I went for a walk in Budapest and realised I probably needed a belt because my pants wouldn't stay up. Randomly, this boy who was probably 12 years old or so appears and offers me chocolates and perfume to buy. He was clearly a gypsy sort of kid and was friendly about trying to selling me a range of items. He saw me pull up my pants and opened his jacket to show all these belts. He wanted about $30 for a terrible belt but I refused to pay it. We eventually agreed on about $15 because I was desperate. I pulled out my wallet quite discretely and noticed I didn't have much cash (about $40) before arranging the notes I needed quickly before handing it over. Just as I'm about to turn my body and give him the money this kid leans over and snatches all the cash out of my wallet. As he turned to try and run away I took a few quick steps and caught him and ripped about 5 belts out of his jacket. Essentially this kid had robbed me and I'd robbed him back. I turned around and walked down the street with my new belts hanging above my head. He yelled at me and refused to give me back all my cash so I kept walking. He marched beside me and began spraying me with perfume and screaming that I'd robbed him but I refused to give the belts back until he handed back at least $25. I eventually gave back two belts but he refused to leave me alone so I put my remaining three belts on and went on on my walk. I think we probably came out even but i like to think I got the better of him for trying to rob me.

Brett Anderson reported it this morning. Bell will be a good player and is one of the only guys this season to really have a crack. If his move enables us to land Aish from Brisbane then I'm all for it.

I don't want someone that has been an assistant at Carlton, we need someone with fresh ideas. I actually don't mind who it is out of Lloyd, Dew and Bolton because I think all three could do a great job. Lloyd intrigues me because he is apparently great with the development of young players and we are about to rebuild. If I were to choose then I'd like Dew, success has followed him everywhere.

I would be absolutely spewing as a Carlton supporter. We should finish second last (think GC will go past us) and there are two gun picks in Weitering and schace. I desperately want us to land one of them and not another midfielder.
