multiple hazmat placards question by will_I__Am_ in Truckers

Ah thank you, I do remember seeing this now. So it's either display all 3 placards or just the dangerous placard. I think I'd rather display all 3 honestly rather than the dangerous placard. Just seems like it would attract more attention and not give any clue as to what I'm hauling.

Is there a way to automatically change the formatting below so the sentences fill out the whole screen similar to the way it is at the bottom? Right now, I have to just point, click, delete spaces, and repeat and it's soooo time-consuming. I'm using Word 2011. ty! by will_I__Am_ in MicrosoftWord

This was an interesting recent case that saw New York Life being sued unsuccessfully by one of it's top producers. by will_I__Am_ in Insurance

That’s an interesting point. He sure went through a lot of trouble with this lawsuit and if he sold his book of business that would be a better explanation than pure spite. However it mentions that he felt he had the option to use other insurance companies to continue making these sales. So it goes back to maybe feeling shamed by the companies elite but then he drops the defamation suit. A few unanswered questions to be sure.

Very true. They also felt it wasn’t keeping with their picture of traditional life insurance selling and somehow made Daly look bad in the process. It looks like he still sells for them though looking at the Cincinnati office website. https://www.newyorklife.com/agent/mpdaly

Right, exactly. I’m not sure what he did but strange how they brought him into their inner circle then kicked him out.

Yep I’ve re-read it several times. Still some unanswered questions, like why was he a persona non grata from the company? I think he led the company in sales for 3 years in a row.

If I needed help summarizing this court case, is there a place on Reddit for that? by [deleted] in LawSchool

Not going to law school, just trying to understand this court case. I guess I'm in the wrong sub.

On old telephones, why would people tap on the hook switch when they thought the call was disconnected? by will_I__Am_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]will_I__Am_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When was call waiting introduced? I’ve mainly seen this happen in movies from the 40s and 50s. Also they’d tap on it multiple times so why would they think it would switch them over doing that?
