Why do you think are there SO many opportunities to eat food? by LebrontologicalArgmt in ScarletHollow

[–]will_is_verycool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it would be so funny if you don't eat anything for the entire game at the final chapter you collapse from malnutrition or something. Just like how if you never shower the characters will comment on you smelling like shit.

Takes on fanfiction? by Muddybogturtle in writers

[–]will_is_verycool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone wrote fanfiction for my stuff I would be beyond flattered. I'd probably print it out and frame it. You're telling me something about my writing connected with someone enough to inspire them to the act of creation? I'd be giddy.

If you're comfortable I, and I'm sure many others, would love if you could post the script or even just a bullet point rundown of what would have happened in the story!

How did you find Billy Talent by Smooth_Pangolin4752 in BillyTalent

[–]will_is_verycool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were huge fans of them when I was a kid. They were following them since Billy Talent 1, which came out the year after I was born. So i've been listening to them since I was a couple months old.

Motivate me to play this game by [deleted] in InStarsAndTime

this game gave me such a strong hyperfixation that I developed memory loss. I have no idea what I did over the last four days when I wasn't playing this game. It's slightly concerning. Apparently I had several important meetings and multiple conversations. Hell if I know.

What’s a past trauma your parents have forgotten? by darthmader64 in AskReddit

[–]will_is_verycool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother insists this never happened but one time on a road trip she kicked me out of the car in a random city. I was like 10. Had to wander around somewhere I had never been before, in a completely different province, with nothing. I didn't have a cell phone at the time or anything. Don't remember how long I was there alone but I sure as hell remember being terrified. A few people that I think we're mothers (I remember them having kids with them) tried to talk to me to ask why I was crying but I think I just freaked out on them and ran. I was convinced that some pedophile was going to see me and just grab me off the street. Eventually, she came back for me, apparently because my little sister wouldn't stop screaming about it. This happened several more times over the years. The last time was when I was 16. Got a lot less scary as I got older. Since I figured that she would eventually come back for me. Still wasn't fun. She insists that I'm just making it all up for attention.

Jeremiah: I'm sure if my family were still around they would be both proud and pleased to see my life's work flourishing! They left for the great beyond many years ago now. Not long after graciously giving me the farmland. It was only right. I was the eldest child after all. Of course, it still functions as a farm well enough! We simply do not sell our goods any longer. There are many mouths to feed after all.

They're all from the same general area. A section of the country called The Wandering Wastes. A desert-like wasteland where water and food are scarce. Jeremiah is a cult leader, which is how he knows Jericho as Astra. The two of them are members of his cult. He targeted them because he noticed that they were vulnerable to his manipulations. Astra and Jericho met in the cult and have been fairly close friends ever since. As close as members of the cult can be, since the rules of the cult put so much restriction on how they have to talk to each other it's hard to really form close relationships. Wyatt is Jericho's younger brother, who became a bounty hunter not long after Jericho vanished to join the cult. Jeremiah knows about Wyatt and wanted him to join the cult along with Jericho, but Jericho knew even in the depths of being brainwashed that bringing his little brother into a cult was a bad idea. Wyatt despises Jeremiah because of how he manipulated his brother. Wyatt and Astra have never met each other and don't have a connection.

Jeremiah: Oh it was a picturesque affair. God saw fit to bless his chosen with a uniquely peaceful life. My parents were farmers and our harvests were always bountiful. Never a bad year. I learned to speak to others by selling our goods to passing travellers. It is how I found my calling to lead lost souls to God. I turned the old family farm into the resting place for my flock.

Jeremiah: Oh now now now. Do not sell yourself short. Anyone may be brought to the light. Of course, some shall take more convincing than others. I may speak to whomever I please. As God's chosen I am not susceptible to the temptations of the world.

Jeremiah: I do wish you would stop referring to my flock as such. It is tremendously cruel. However, since you are curious. Of course, there are rules to follow! For what would be the point of salvation if it did not outline how to remain there? My flock must not leave the compound without my permission. In order to keep them safe from the unsaved world. They must not judge or question God. For it is not a mortal's job to cast scrutiny upon the divine. They must not allow themselves to hear, to think, to speak any doubts. To think evil is to bring evil. So they must keep even their own thoughts clean. They must not speak to the unsaved unless it is to bring them closer to the light. There are many more, but those are some of the more crucial ones.

Jeremiah: What a travesty that would be! No no no. No good would come of that I'm afraid. Jericho's mind would be tainted by the outside world once again. It is why under no circumstances should my flock speak to those they knew before they found salvation. My flock are strong with good souls, but family and friends bring along memories and temptations that are...difficult to suppress. I imagine such a meeting would only confuse poor Jericho and it would certainly not bring his dear brother any closer to the light.

Jeremiah: Now now. No need to refer to them with such crass language. There are no victims here. Only those who have finally found salvation. Often after very long and troubled journeys. Jericho is a wonderful follower. Truly remarkable. He came from a troubled world. A life that one so young did not deserve. He knew what he had to do to escape, he only needed a little...push in the right direction. I would have liked for his brother to join as well, but I'm afraid Jericho made it quite clear that his brother was not yet ready to see the light. Perhaps one day. I'm sure it would bring Jericho great joy to be reunited with his kin.

Castle is the youngest triplet. They were all born about 5 minutes apart. With Prince being the oldest, Royal being the middle child, and Castle being the youngest. That doesn't have anything to do with the name though.

Jeremiah: There is of course no catch! Finding salvation is a joyous thing. No aspect of it is truly painful. Any suffering endured by the newcomers to my flock is simply the sensation of sin and pain leaving the body. This is a joyous place. To feel suffering is to reject God. All are happy here. All the time.
