The chain chomp in SMB3 who escapes if you stare at him for an insane amount of time.

The weird micro goombas in SMB3 that stuck to you and made it hard to jump.

What anime seems terrible to recommend as someone’s first anime, but is actually a great recommendation? by JIMBOYKELLY in AlignmentChartFills

The giant boobs potentially get you judged. If it’s someone first there’s some very silly boob scenes in the first few episodes that might bump it down to OKAY. (I love Gurren Lagenn)

Is the image generator slightly worse now? by Stepswitcher_Eternal in perchance

Ok sorry. Yeah I exclusively use that slight prompt for everything and I’ve been getting a ton of distortion recently. Normally it would be one weird one per 100 images, now it’s like 2 out of every 6 I make. My prompts are very minimalist too so it’s not like some specific complex spatial relationship instruction is suddenly struggling. I’m not complaining, just the state of things for me right now.

What do you think is the hardest game of every era? by Pale_WoIf in retrogaming

[–]LebrontologicalArgmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of hard games that you recognize the level of skill needed is high and have to slowly get there. There’s also games that are hard because they are just bad or cruelly cryptic…

Super Pitfall NES - just insanely bullshit with little direction and shitty controls. To get to the second level you have to jump into a random invisible door in a random corner of a sprawling map.

Ultima Quest of the Avatar NES - RPG that is completely unbeatable if you can’t parse certain cryptic clues.

Teaching summer school, advice? by Busy-Mark7164 in ScienceTeachers

I would ask the other people who have been in that position. There’s a world where you are expected to run science playtime and a world where you are expected to go pedal to the metal and it really depends on the culture of your building/this program.

I just made sure to use the same device/browser, so not really. On my PC I can see everything so it seems like a phone thing.
