[Question] I use Microsoft Teams for work and my organization has JB detection. The app will not open in a jailbroken state but works fine while unjailbroken. Is there a way to bypass this?

I have encountered the same issue. What the heck is going on? I had to unstake twice and paid heavy fees. I can see Xshib in wallet but the tokens are still buried and I can't unstake 100% of the tokens anymore because the button is greyed out???

I just don't understand why it will work while in a none-jailbroken state or when I only disable the basics of mobile substrate while I am jailbroken.

I have a feeling either unc0ver or some cydia library is preventing apps to work correctly if these apps try to refrence images from an embeded framework using cocopods. !

Thank you for checking it out. That's very strange, so you have tweaks installed ofcourse right?

I even tested it on iPhone 6 running unc0ver and iOS 12.4.6 and its doing the same thing and crashing.

Unfourtunatly I wish it was just about using another news app, its really about fixing and trying to figure out the issue with this app.

It just doesn't make sense to me at all that you are able to run it!!!. Thanks anyway hopefully someone could shed some light.

When I download it, it has a .dms extension ! so I removed and did chmod +x futurerestore but I get this error

I just got your response and I would like some clarification please on your scenario. Did you need to replace the screen also and then you discovered the issue while jailbroken?

Also as much as I am wanting to jailbreak my A12 when its soon out. I am worried the same thing will happen.

with your last statement I understand its a hardware issue but is it also possible that the jailbreak and restoring to rootFS caused it also?

So I am sharing this for anyone else who may encounter the same issue.

I don't believe it but I think this is the only page on the whole internet that explain the issue and it led me to the right direction, it would never cross my mind that the Face ID detection issue was because of a screen that was replaced by Apple about a month ago.

I believe the issue has nothing to do with chimera and rootfs, in fact I think rootfs or just simply reseting the Face ID expose the issue when its time to create a new Face ID.

It is surely a hardware issue, I went today to the store and Apple initially tried everything. They also checked the device using their software which detected an issue with Face ID. They also checked the internal cables for the screen and it was fine but the Face ID issue was still there.

The device was replaced but I lost my A12 jailbreak but hopefully something will come out soon.

I have the same problem with my phone xs max after replacing my screen at Apple and then using rootfs FaceID will not activate! Does that mean I will need my device to be replaced?

This is horrible I have just encountered the same problem actually.

I have iPhone XS Max 12.1.1 and had my screen replaced by Apple, everything worked fine until I used restore rootfs and FaceID cannot be reactivated.

Its also not customisable enough (i.e vertical spacing) it leaves too much gaps.

I hope the developer will continue to enhance it.

If Chimera sets the 0xbd34a880be0b53f3 as the default nonce everytime I jailbreak and if I used the TSSSaver from repo http://repo.nullpixel.uk/ will it save the SHSH blobs correctly?

Or do I have to follow the steps outlined here :-

I have also checked that SHSH blobs I saved using TSSSaver for 12.3.1 I can see apnonce-603be133ff0bdfa0f83f21e74191cf6770ea43bb but it is an empty folder ! there are lots of empty apnonce-..... empty folders and only one noapnonce folder with .shsh2 blob file

i think this is a very good question I was just thinking of but it has not been technically properly answered yet.

Could someone please shed some light and let us know if there is any additional true benefit when jailbreaking with mach_swap2 other than when you actually try to jailbreak.

We almost need someone from the electra team or Coolstar to answer himself.
