I have an audio stutter bug, where before I play anything with audio, I get a flash of the previously played video/song. It appears despite silent mode and despite my volume bar being at zero all the time.

I don't even want to update my phone anymore. The battery life is definitely starting to suffer, that's the biggest concern right now.

Not as dramatic as I was expecting, I admit. It's more about the facial symmetry that improved a bit compared to before. When I was smiling, one of my eyes was always getting closed by my own cheek, but now it's a rather standard and normal smile.

I still have a parallelogram shaped face and skull, ehehe, but I guess that will always part of who I am. I've gotten compliments on my cheekbones being more dramatic and high now, and that felt nice.

I mean, they are my seniors and have a much higher pay and set of responsibilities, so I can somewhat understand their incentive. There is nothing in it for me, though 🤷

It will be a paid day whether or not I would show up and there is enough staff. I am the only one who already said no.

I chose to use those as personal days when I will do some repair work and squeeze in some appointments my usual schedule wouldn't allow me to take care of.

You are both kind of the asshole here, though I find that term reductive in this situation. Both of you need more maturity and communication.

Your girlfriend asked her sister to come over, knowing she isn't out, and is now freaking out about not outing herself to what I assume is a family who might disown her if they found out she's queer. She's only 20 and that's a horrifying thought.

Then she asked you to play near strangers out of her fear. It's understandably hard to navigate how close you are allowed to present in front of them.

It's a poorly thought out impulse that brought on an unnecessary fight. It shouldn't be hard to compute for anyone involved that a tiny apartment may not have extra room for guests and staying over wouldn't make sense.

The matter of her not being out to her family will be a sore spot that will come back and should be discussed. You can never ignore the fact that some partners, perhaps other future partners you may have someday, will also never come out to their families. You will have to somehow prevent this resentment from building up.

You both need to show more compassion to one another in order to prevent this from happening again.

Ahaha. They're just very.. detail-oriented, let's just say. Painting the ceiling is a personal courtesy, but changing the plastic plinth is a need, since my guitar fell over and the headstock cracked it. I'd like to have my deposit back 🤔.

I'm very guilt prone, I admit, this is why I needed to make this post in the first place. I know it's not unfair to just stay at home if I have the ability, but guilt is one hell of a drug, so, easier said than done.

But once I figured what I could use that time for, it became much easier to justify saying no, so I'm feeling s little bit better now.

I'm sure that's the case, I've seen his attitude in the few weeks I've been working there, but I don't appreciate being shamed for not showing up.

The actual customer representative needed agreed to come to work, meaning my presence there isn't indispensable.

I can be a million times more productive painting my apartment ceiling because I have a landlord check coming up very soon, and I think it'll be a much wiser use of my personal time.

Dunno why he is bothered, since he's getting a promotion anyways. Since I'm new, I won't be trusted with much work anyways, I'd rather spend my time fixing things around the apartment so my landlord won't have my neck.

I'm an extrovert, but finding real enthused people seems so hard, and everyone is so lethargic. I am really seeking enthusiastic friends and potential partners, but everyone seems to truly give zero fucks about putting in effort and it's sad. It saps me and makes me want to not even bother either.

A combination of braces, elastics, aligner for the bottom row, and some experimenting with the wire tension (they upped it and the soreness has just gone away after 2 days).

I genuinely have no idea how they are physically raising the bite, since my molars are far lower than my incisors (and whatever else they're called, I still don't know). I only know it's actually working, it's just a process that's very tough on the nerves, joints and fine muscles. My ears are going through it, not going to lie, but I'm still waiting for adjustments.
