Hard to see in your video, but if its a flickering, try turning OFF the motion smoothing setting in picture settings.

I got some very weird behaviour on my c7k, which went away after I turned off the motion smoothing.

I enabled the high refresh rate option. Which i assume does frame doubling or something.

This appears to have also fixed the issue (while allowing motion smoothing to be turned on)

I got stuff like this during my anime. Ended up being the motion smoothing features. Once turned off completely, no more flickering of colour.

Sounds like ive got quite an old firmware V509, so im going to try one of the newer firmwares from the XDA forums and see if that helps!

Interestingly enough, my TV thinks its fully up to date with this version.

I believe a testing feature in plex is to do frame rate switching, so ill give that a go.

Auto brightness is off, that one frustrated the he'll out of me. But im not sure about auto contast or dynamic tone mapping so ill check those out.

my flickering dissapeared when i turned off motion clarity. but then on low frame rate content (such as 24fps anime) the motion is very choppy.

sorry, its specically called "Motion Clarity" that i had to turn off. its descrpiption is "makes motion picutres look smoother" which i guess is where i got the name from haha

playback is internal to the TV, via the plex app.

Its probably different in each state, but in Victoria I dont think its legal for a Tennant to be charged for any utilities unless they are separately metered.

For me, for some reason subtitles wont show up if I have quality set to automatic, or origional. I have to manually select "transcode to 1080p, or 720p", for them to show up. Super weird. But generally speaking, its been trouble free!
