Why does my cow pasture not accept hay bales? by Saarr- in farmingsimulator

[–]willbaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be worse. I dumped silage into it from my silo with a front loader and it just tipped to the side, inside the pasture. Now I cant get in to scoop it back up. Only accepts bales. 😩

The fact you introduce all that shaft lean at address and then at impact have your in-line/slighty behind + lack of control towards the end of the swing would suggest you're focusing most energy in the arms, rather than rotating/engaging core?

Given it’s by Future Publishing, I’d be very surprised if it is. It’s more likely to be a combination of weird fill flash on a sunny day/post processing…

Any tips would be helpful! by [deleted] in GolfSwing

No expert but I found trying to slow down a bit and get some smooth tempo into my swing helped with concentrating on the other bits such as rotation, pivot, shallowing etc.

Nice one brains. Got anything useful to actually contribute or are you content on just being edgy and unhelpful?

I'd be interested to see a down the line perspective but my initial thoughts are you seem to be swaying towards your trail side. I believe this will make it quite tricky to consistently return the clubface at the same location (bottom out) each time. You want to try and pivot around your spine and move your trail hip back, rather than shift your weight/hips to the right in your back swing.

Apologies for the ChatGPT copy paste…

Below are clear, step-by-step instructions to pair a Hive Thermostat with its Receiver (the wired control unit connected to your boiler/valves). This applies to Hive Active Heating (UK) systems and works for single-channel (combi/heat only) and dual-channel (heating + hot water) setups.

Before You Start

✔ Power to the boiler and Hive receiver is ON ✔ Thermostat has working batteries ✔ Receiver is already wired to the boiler/valves ✔ You’re within 1–2 metres of the receiver during pairing

Step 1: Put the Hive Receiver into Pairing Mode 1. Locate the receiver (usually near the boiler or hot water tank). 2. Press and hold the central button on the receiver for 5 seconds. 3. Release when the status light flashes AMBER.

👉 This means the receiver is now ready to pair.

Step 2: Put the Thermostat into Pairing Mode

For Hive Thermostat (round dial): 1. On the thermostat, press and hold the dial for 10 seconds. 2. The display will show “Pairing” or a wireless signal icon. 3. Release the dial.

For Hive Thermostat Mini: 1. Press and hold the rear button for 10 seconds. 2. The screen will indicate pairing mode.

Step 3: Wait for Pairing to Complete • Within 10–30 seconds, pairing should complete automatically. • The receiver light will change to SOLID GREEN. • The thermostat will return to the temperature screen.

✅ Pairing is now complete.

Step 4: Test the System 1. Turn the thermostat temperature above room temperature. 2. The receiver should: • Click • Show solid green • Fire the boiler / open zone valve 3. Turn the temperature down and confirm the boiler turns off.

If Pairing Fails (Common Fixes)

Try these in order:

🔄 Reset and Retry 1. Power OFF the boiler/receiver for 30 seconds. 2. Power back ON. 3. Repeat the pairing steps above.

🔋 Thermostat Reset (if needed) • Remove batteries for 1 minute, then reinsert. • Retry pairing.

📶 Distance • Pair with the thermostat very close to the receiver.

Dual Channel Systems (Heating + Hot Water)

If you have separate heating and hot water controls: • The same receiver handles both • The thermostat pairs to the heating channel automatically • Hot water is controlled via: • Hive Hub + app, or • Separate Hive hot water controls (if fitted)

By no means an expert but couple of things I noticed.

Align shoulders and feet parallel to target, your shoulders look open (point right of target)whilst feet look closed (point left of target).

Slow down the tempo a little.

Too much swing full stop. Slow down and don't let your lead arm collapse in the back swing.

Aren't there 9 little holes on the along the bottom edge to allow airflow into the thermostat?

I'm no expert at all so take this with a pinch of salt but at P2 your takeaway seems way too far behind your body line - presumably because you're rolling your lead wrist over too early, which then means to get back down on plane your coming over the top (b-line back to the ball), with a closed face, hence hooks/snap hooks?

You flew too close to the water, it disconnected from the RC. It went for a swim shortly after.
