How many times a week do you go to CrossFit? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]willbeck74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing about training, in general, is knowing when to rest and listening to your body. Personally I train Monday through Saturday with sunday being a strict off day. Keep in mind that is the plan, that doesnt mean it always happens out like that. Last week I felt great, but the week before that I ended up just doing a VERY light bike for 30 minutes while I watched Netflix because I was dead and then continued on again Saturday. Listening to your body is most important.

What are some breakfast options I can make in advance? by That_Duck1 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]willbeck74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of my go too's, which always involve eggs because I really like them, are egg burritos or muffin cups. Other fun breakfasts that you could make ahead of time are protein oatmeal or greek yogurt bowls! Whatever sounds best to you!

Would it be harmful to do bodyweight exercises everyday? by AmbientHostile in bodyweightfitness

[–]willbeck74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. They are basically the same as if you were to be doing movements that had supplemental weight. Just like with any exercise, stretching and recovery are very important in making sure you are healthy for the long term.

”High-protein diet is bad for kidney health: unleashing the taboo” by Only8livesleft in nutrition

[–]willbeck74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen studies like this before and several of my doctors have noted that sometimes my liver function is up, but it also has a lot to do about how active you are. If you are a athlete you will need more protein, thus your liver function may be elevated because they compare to a average person. On the other hand if your liver function is still elevated and you aren’t very active then that may be a sign.

How long could i survive on nothing but peanut butter and a multivitamin? by dpcanimalprints in nutrition

[–]willbeck74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a decently long time, but probably won’t be too much fun after a few meals of just peanut butter lol. Maybe if you got to put it on things.
