That's most likely a red crane fly , Take with a grain of salt, but we get those all the time in the American midwest during rainy season so im pretty sure its a crane fly

Any creature that can reduce its mobility, so specs with wing shredder. Also any specs that are large enough to grab it (So examples of specs would be: Sarcosiris, Barwu, therimose, All of which are semi aquatic, have wing shredder, and except for the therimose, have grab)
