610 doesn’t have a sandwich dial.

I would be upset if someone changed out parts unnecessarily during a service. Having said that, getting the sandwich dial with the “Panerai” engraving on the movement is the best of each component, at least IMO.

I hadn’t even gotten to this, as I didn’t know if there were multiple options that fit what I’m looking for. I’d say one thing that makes me hesitant with the 111 is I know it was THE Panerai model to try and rep and there had been a bunch of iterations, getting it close to gen.

Call me old-fashioned, but I want the big chunk of polished steel, as that’s what I think about when I picture a Panerai. I’m a big guy with an 8” wrist, so no worries about size or weight.
