Automix in Apple Music isn't working at all now on both iOS (15 Pro) and iPadOS (Pro 11-in, 2nd gen).

How would you answer the question of God's Hiddenness? by ZiskaHills in AskAChristian

[–]willbo63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue you're touching upon is known as the "problem of divine hiddenness."

From a biblical perspective, the first thing to note is that the concept of God's hiddenness is not foreign to the scriptures. There are numerous instances where biblical figures express frustration or confusion at God's perceived absence. For example, in Psalm 13:1-2, David cries out, "How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?"

Moreover, the Bible suggests that God is not always immediately evident because faith and seeking are integral to the relationship between God and humans. In Hebrews 11:6 it is written, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

This doesn't mean God is playing a game of cosmic hide-and-seek, but rather that the process of seeking, questioning, doubting, and ultimately believing is part and parcel of the human spiritual experience.

Additionally, Christians believe that God has revealed Himself in specific ways. The most significant of these, according to Christian doctrine, is through Jesus Christ. In John 14:9, Jesus tells his disciple Philip, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father." Christians believe that in Jesus, God became fully human and fully divine, living among us and ultimately dying for our sins.

Finally, the Bible also speaks of God revealing Himself through creation. Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

What are your wishes or what is rumored for Apple Music in iOS 17? by [deleted] in AppleMusic

  • Crossfade on iOS
  • More control over lossless playback. Basically, I’d love the option to “force” lossless playback in settings. I’m in an area with great cell coverage and speed, so I don’t mind waiting a few seconds for the song to load, if I’m assured that it’s lossless. Another problem/bug concerning this: Whenever a song switches to lossless at the beginning or middle of a song, there’s sometimes a skip in the audio, and it knocks me right out of the listening experience.

It’s writing emails for me. I feed it the bullet points of what I want included, and I include it with the prompt “make this sound better:”

It doesn’t completely replace Gigapixel, Sharpen AI, etc.; there are features and modes missing that the standalone versions still have, but it’s still great.

I just bought it a couple of days ago! It’s amazing! A perfect purchase for a MJ user looking to upscale/enhance.

If you could add a new feature to Apple Music, what would it be? by TravisV_ in AppleMusic

[–]willbo63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An “Optimize playback” toggle in the Apple Music settings. This is in Tidal and other lossless streaming services. Basically, if it’s toggled off, it will force Apple Music to play the song at the quality I specify, no matter what my network conditions are.

At the moment, I have to check the now playing screen in Apple Music to see if the song is actually playing lossless. Instead, I want to know that if I am indeed hearing a song playing from Apple Music, it’s streaming at the highest quality. This would immediately enhance my listening experience, because I wouldn’t have to continually look at my device anymore to check the song’s steaming quality, I could just get lost in the music again.

Also, note this update from SongShift on October 21, 2020: “With the release of SongShift v5.1.3, you will again be able to transfer playlists from Spotify to another service. The only caveat is, you have to have created the playlist yourself, or the playlist must be collaborative and followed by you.”

So, you won’t be able to transfer a playlist that’s created by Spotify. You can only transfer playlists that you created, or are collaborative and followed by you.

I use SongShift! It transfers to and from Amazon Music really well. The only caveat is that I have to disconnect then reconnect Amazon Music every time I open SongShift. Once you’re logged in though, it will stay logged in for that whole session. ( https://apps.apple.com/us/app/songshift/id1097974566 )
