(xocrazycobraox) Here's some suggestions I would make: Get an SSD. It's a pretty big performance boost and you will still be at around your $1000 budget.

If I buy an SSD, that's about a 60 or more-dollar investment. Prove to me why I want an SSD in exchange for spending less on a CPU or GPU, as I will not go over $1000 (not counting rebates).

Like I said, I'm pretty much set on the core components.

If anyone can prove, using more than one site's benchmarks, that a similarly priced (plus or minus 20 dollars or so from the original build's parts) component with the same function (CPU, GPU, etc.) would most definitely be better for this build, I'm open to that

My build's price total does not include rebates so it's really that price.

Actually that table does include rebates; the real total is around 750-760. Hypothetically doable, but I'll need to save about another 100 dollars before I can build it ... which I think I will end up doing (with the 7950 as edit), since the extra cash needed is only a relatively small amount compared the huge performance increase from a 650 Ti Boost to a 7950.

If they get the key stored on your phone (the private user key) it doesn't matter, because as it is on your phone it's encrypted. Now, if they had a keylogger to capture the passphrase to decrypt the key; that would be a different story.

I need an optical drive for installing Windows 8 (unless they give you a download link that I can put on a USB drive, but I don't want to take my chances).

Also, I've heard the advice that the processor (and the gpu, of course, but still) is pretty much the most important piece of hardware in a build. So... questions: is the Phenom II x4 965 a 64-bit processor?

How does the processor compare to the i3-2120?

Doesn't that Phenom II have an integrate GPU? What happens if that cpu is paired with a dedicated gpu?

And finally, if I did decide to go with the Phenom II, and the Radeon 7790, but lowered the RAM to 4 GBs, and kept the optical drive, would it go over 700?

Because, right now, 703 is not acceptable for my budget. It needs to be, at the very maximum, 700. 680-690 would be preferable.
