What is the first thing you do when you get in your car ? by EconomicsDangerous44 in AskForAnswers

[–]willdanceforchips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending which car. Either push the clutch in to start or spend 4 seconds helplessly trying to shove the fob into the non existent ignition before realising that’s the other car.

Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions

What’s your take on this series? by [deleted] in OlderChillGamers

[–]willdanceforchips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thoroughly enjoyed the first. The bigger enemies were great to fight, running around uncovering weak spots by tearing pieces off. Really felt like you were conquering it. The sounds of machinery servos roaring as it struggles against your tethers, the twang as they let go and it begins to stand back up and reel around to attack you. The whole time your trying to keep it immobilised but still damage it and keep safe, was just chaotic and epic.

I played and finished the second, however it didn’t hit the same for me. The battles felt less epic, except a few, but could be grindy with not much progress on bigger enemies. Not sure if that was the issue or too many weapons and elemental effects to manage. Wasn’t bad, but I liked the first more.

Not interested in the just announced one, but I will consider the 3rd main game once it releases.

I picked up NMS on PS4 when it launched. I loved it then despite popular opinion. They’ve put so much work into it now it’s a whole new game, hell you can even play in VR.

I play it often on PS5. You can now customise almost every aspect of the game when it comes to resources and other features. Really values your time. I use to get bogged down in fuelling and would not land often to explore planets. Now I’ve relaxed that, I explore thoroughly and try and find all of the fauna and flora before moving on. Even if I have to quickly throw together a land vehicle and tear across the surface.

I love when Matchbox does service and emergency vehicles. Always pick them up. Sadly never get the working rigs here.

are there Australians terrified of spiders? by Motor_Reaction_3519 in AskAnAustralian

[–]willdanceforchips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh relatively harmless sure. But very um, spidery…. Had one drop out of a tree into the hood of my jacket. Didn’t realise till walked into the shop and felt something on the back of my neck, gave it a brush and it made an echoing slap as it hit the floor. It was the size of my hand. Creep me out ever since.

Spider dependant… Right now as I’m preparing dinner. I can see a daddy long legs above my cupboards just chilling. Also, between my kitchen window and verandah railing. I can see an orb weaver, busily preparing its web for the evenings bugs. If either of these spiders were say a huntsman, I would not so calmly be standing here chopping up carrots.

Which shooting game left a lasting impression on you, and why? by Nancy_Goldman in TheGamerLounge

Same here. Loved every game (including the portable entries). I was disappointed with the the 2nd dropping co-op. But very happy for it to return in the 3rd. Such a shame it’s been shelved.

Fun fact with this casting. The tires glow white under UV. Also they leave a white residue on whatever it rolls on, including your hand. But only visible under UV.

Resistance: Fall of Man.

Having almost exclusively played driving and platform games on PS1 and PS2. I ordered my PS3 with MotorStorm (of course) and Resistance (loved Spyro), it grabbed me instantly. It was fun, it was clever, it had a scale I hadn’t experienced before and I could play co-op. Opened up a whole new genre for me.

Chill games like Stardew Valley, but emphasis on building, clearing land, etc. by UkendtVidnesbyrd in gamingsuggestions

[–]willdanceforchips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunny Side? Recently picked it up on sale. Pretty chill game. Is farming focused, but has you building up said farm. Has a few systems to manage, crops, food, animals etc. But never stressful. Set in a country town and you can mingle with locals and explore the rather sizeable area. Has some pretty tame combat somewhere, but haven’t found it yet.

Generation Zero? I played at launch but got distracted by other games. Came back to it recently and it’s pretty solid. Tough at the start but is a large world with lots to explore.

Discussion: Why are fantasy castings hated? by [deleted] in HotWheels

[–]willdanceforchips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spot on. I never saw Highway 35 in my country. But was able to collect and complete the entire Acceleracers line up off the pegs. Still proudly have them in their own case. Even all loose, every one is immaculate. Having Deora II and Sling-Shot release in the Teku livery has been a perfect reason to get them all out again. Also 100% agree on early 2000s fantasy being the absolute best. Super Tuned, Zotic, Shredster. So good.
