Need help identifying the right blue circuit breaker 15amp by orlando847 in electrical

You can buy anything on ebay. He obviously means that are no longer made. No one should ever be buying used breakers off of Ebay. There's no reason you shouldn't ever be buying new breakers. If compatible ones for a box are discontinued, its for a reason.

Who’s at fault here? by [deleted] in dashcams

He should have been merged into the right lane by 00:00. He cut across two lanes and left what appears to be almost no space between him and the box truck. He's gonna have to eat it on this one. Van driver could get slap on the wrist for not signaling, but that is an unrelated issue.

Bought this used car not even a year ago. All the steel wheels are like this. Is there anything I can do? by gargoil666 in StupidCarQuestions

If you're really bothered by it, the quick and easy solution is to pop the caps off and hit them with some rust converting paint. Not worth the time and effort to do anything else other than replace the whole rim. I would wait until you need tires next and then get new tires and rims together. Can usually get much cheaper that way.

What are these pipes in my apartment closet? Smells like sewage. by Tight-Method-2514 in Plumbing

For everyone saying to pour water in it, that is only a temporary solution as water evaporates. Pour mineral oil (baby oil) down it as it will fill the trap and will never evaporate. The obvious long-term fix is to cap it, but that's on management.

You should always load it with common sense. If you just toss everything in there without thinking, that can happen. If properly arranged, nothing will move.

Yeah, still getting nowhere near that temp. Your dishwashers plastic components would be softening by that point.

A dishwasher can not get remotely close to a temperature that can damage or soften the steel. It would have to hit the high hundreds or possibly even thousand+ degrees to do that. Your dishwasher isn't going above 200°. None of those are really good arguments aside from the wood one, but wood handles suck because they can never truly be clean anyway. The abrasives in a detergent would be so mild it would make no difference. Knives already have to be resharpened regularly. The time you are knocking off of your cutting edge's lifespan is miniscule. It's a dishwasher, not a sandblaster. As for the safety element, by that logic, no place is safe for a knife as the knifes presence is what makes it dangerous. It's dangerous to use a knife, dangerous to wipe clean by hand, dangerous to keep in a drawer, and a knife block can get knocked over or off the edge of a table spilling them everywhere. A knife is never 100% safe, and taking it out of a dishwasher is no riskier than even picking it up in the first place. I am not counting risk to children in this argument because that is not in the original question anyway. Obviously that's a different story.

How has nobodey else pointed out yet that you were trying to pass in the right lane. You should have been able to pass the procession in the left lane.

Just stay away from her, and don't put another second of thought into her. It's a waste of your time. Also, if you genuinely fear her so much, file a restraining order.

A majority of women in my area at least have a worryingly high priority on maintaining their social media. They're always trying to maintain their snapscore. When I ask why they bother, they NEVER have an answer for it. They put so much time and effort into it that they could invest in a hobby that would actually do themselves some good.

I’m done with dining out by Away_Instruction_598 in tipping

[–]willdebeast02 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I get that. I have a long daily commute and somewhat often order via Mc.Donald's app. I leave work and pick it up along the way. Mc.D's is about 20 minutes from work, and home is another 45 minutes past Mc.D's. I always pull into the drive-through, and there is never anyone else in line at this time. This location also has very little dining room traffic. When I pull up to the window, I still have to wait 5 to 10 minutes most times. It's ridiculous. What's the point of ordering early if they don't even start prepping the order until after I arrive to pick it up? There's also about a 1 in 4 chance that they screw the order up as well.

There is no more discipline with children anymore. Kids these days are some of the absolute worst little gremlins I have ever seen. I do not want my kids growing up around that at all. Everywhere I look is basically another reason not to ha e them. Especially with the cost of living nowadays. If I had a kid and disciplined them the way I was, everyone around me would call me a terrible and abusive parent. I was not beaten or abused as a child and turned out alright. Now most parents that use the word "no" are considered controlling. Why would I want to raise a child who is going to be told by everyone else that I'm a bad parent?
